TheBalm NUDE'TUDE EYESHADOW PALETTE REVIEW

Since receiving this surprise in my first Cohorted box, I have been constantly been reaching between this palette and my H&M eye cream & eye-shadow as an everyday look. TheBalm's Nude'tude palette consists of 12 beautiful shades and I have spottted a stand in my local Superdrug waiting to be filled up with theBalm goodies.

THEBALM NUDE'TUDE PALETTE
PACKAGING
Comes in a sturdy cardboard packaging with a HUGE mirror (great for applying make-up), looks travel-friendly due to it's slimline packaging, contains a shadow/liner brush and has a strong magnetic flip lid to ensure the brush and eye-shadows are well protected.

PRODUCT AND APPLICATION
The eye-shadows are all highly pigmented, very buttery and smooth, easy to blend, and contains a range of shimmer and matte shades (sultry, sexy, serious and sleek). The shadow/liner brush has a slanted pointed end, great for precise application, for applying eye-shadow under the eyes and for a sharp cut crease look. The brush is extremely soft and is travel-friendly and you actually will use it.

COVERAGE
A little fall out when dipping your brush into the product but, nothing major as the pigmentation makes up for it. The longevity of these eye-shadows are quite long lasting and has not faded on me.

COLOUR SELECTION
This palette is a perfectly balanced nude/neutral palette with the right amount of light to dark, shimmer and matte shades to fulfill all looks. See below for more photographs of the eye-shadow palette and how I will use the colours.

PRICE
Okay, so I have to admit, this was a bargain for me as it came in my Cohorted box, however I have seen this my local TK Maxx store quite recently for £15.00. The orginal price of this palette is £26.00 from Birchbox

SASSY & SNOBBY
SASSY is a shimmery frosty white, suitable for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes to brighten. SNOBBY is a shimmery light yellow shade, suitable for highlighting too and for extra dimension on the middle of the eyelid.

STUBBORN & STAND-OFFISH
STUBBORN is a shimmery light peachy pink. STAND-OFFISH is a shimmery light peach which has more chunky shimmer particles.

SELFISH & SULTRY
SELFISH is a shimmery taupe brown shade and has almost a foil-look. SULTRY is a matte brown, one of my favourite from the palette, I use this as an overall lid colour, it adapts and blends well with all the other darker and lighter shades.

SOPHISTICATED & SEDUCTIVE
SOPHISTICATED is a shimmery brown bronze shade great for creating a little more dimension in the crease. SEDUCTIVE is a shimmery golden brown, a great colour option for a transitional brown smoky eye look.

SEXY & SILLY
SEXY is a matte burgundy plum shade, which can be blended with Sophisticated to add shimmer and dimension, great for Autumn/Fall looks. SILLY is a shimmery dark brown with gold chunky glitter particles.

SERIOUS & SLEEK
SERIOUS is a matte black shade which can be used as an eyeliner alternative and deepen any other shades, a little goes a long way. SLEEK is a matte dark brown which can also be used as a base to deepen the crease.

Would I recommend this? YES If you are looking for a neutral/nude palette that can easily create many looks that is highly pigmented, look no further. But if it's a little to pricey, put this on your Christmas wishlist :)

Have you tried this palette? Until next time!
