2 MASCARAS AND 2 TOOLS THAT ACTUALLY MAKE MY EYELASHES LONG AND CURLED

I have the typical straight stuck out eyelashes that seem impossible to curl or last till I complete my whole face makeup. And I know it's a pain constantly searching for new mascaras and new tools to achieve curled lashes. These are the mascara and eyelash tools that I use every single day and has been working great for me.

MASCARAS

Let's talk mascara first, I only used to use mascaras that give me length and the L'oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara was a firm favourite of mine to give me that look but I did find the formula very wet and it will drag my 'just' curled eyelashes down which wasn't ideal. I have a really hard time finding mascaras that have the right consistency to hold onto my eyelashes that are curled by an eyelash curler.

I've tried many mascara high end and drug store and these are the 2 that have been working wonders for me. The first mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational in Waterproof. I waited a long time for the waterproof version to be released before I went and purchased since I have oily eyelids. This mascara is not too wet therefore a good consistency that manages to coat every single lash, not to mention I love the wand since my eyes are quite tiny. The mascaras with a huge brush applicator don't even touch the lashes at the corner of  my eyes. I use this mascara after I curled my lashes with the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler (I'll be talking about that below) and it defines and lengthen my lashes if I want a more volumised look I will go in with 2 coats of mascara.

The next mascara I am mentioning is the Lancome Hypnose Doll Mascara. I use this after I have curled my coated lashes (my lashes will already have on the Maybelline Lash Sensational) with the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler. This mascara helps volumise and lengthen my lashes without weighing them down. I love the cone-shaped applicator which coats my shorter lashes too and I love the whole look both mascaras create.

TOOLS

Onto-tools, I use two different tools that complete the whole eyelash routine. The first tool is the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. Now this is a pricey eyelash curler compared to all the others on the market. It has a smaller curved shape suitable for people who have smaller eyes. With older eyelash curlers that I have used in the past, I always found that only the centre area of my lashes was curled and my ends were are always straight as. The problem was I could not fit the whole width of my lashline area onto the device never mind curling them. Not to mention the amount of time my lashes were ripped out. I used to do the re-curl rule after you apply your mascara and that it not a good look and I don't recommend using that method either.

The other tool that you see in the photograph above is the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler. I discovered eyelash curlers when I was 17-18 years old from browsing Boots.com. The first heated eyelash curler was from the Boots brand No.7 which I used for a year and then it broke since I kept dropping it on the floor. I discovered the Eylure Heated Mascara online and I have never stopped using it since. The sensation is weird at first since it's basically curlers for your lashes instead of your hair. Now to use this you apply a coat of mascara onto your lashes first and wait for your mascara to dry. You then go in with your heated eyelash curler and use the wand to warm up the mascara and the wand will push your lashes upwards and since mascaras dry in a matter of seconds your re-curled eyelashes will stay like that the whole day. I absolutely love this tool and if you have stubborn Asian straight lashes like me you need to try a heated eyelash curler and it will change your lash game.

I do have photos below of what my lashes look on a daily basis. So to RECAP my lash routine:
1. Curl your lashes with the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
2. Apply the first coat of mascara using the Maybelline Sensational Mascara
3. Using the Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler re-curl your lashes
4. Apply the second coat of mascara using the Lancome Hypnose Doll Mascara.

I hope you have found this helpful, if you have any lash recommendations please let me know!
Until next time!
