COVER FX NATURAL FINISH FOUNDATION, CUSTOM COVER DROPS & CUSTOM ENHANCER DROPS REVIEW*

Welcome back, Today I'm reviewing a few things from Cover FX which I was kindly sent by Cult Beauty like always all my reviews are 100% my own. I picked three items to review; the Natural Finish Foundation, Custom Cover Drops and Custom Enhancer Drops.

PACKAGING

The Custom Cover Drops and Custom Enhancer Drops comes in a pipette bottle. The Cover drops have a black bottle with a teardrop on the front showing the colour. The Enhancer Drop comes in a clear bottle with a gold label. They are both very sleek and easy to store. What I did notice is the Enhancer Drop bottle can become a little crusty around the rim I think it's got to do with the bottle, the Custom Enhancer Drops, however, is absolutely fine - just to make you aware.

The natural Finish Foundation comes in a squeezy tube which I do like as it allows me to control how much product I want to use, again it is easy to store and you are able to see the foundation shade. All these came in a cardboard packaging with instructions on the side and are advised to shake well before use.

COVER FX | NATURAL FINISH FOUNDATION in G20 | £34 *

This foundation is paraben, fragrance, mineral oil and talc free. It is also a vegan-friendly product and has 40 shades across the range. The foundation claims to be hydrating yet oil-free and is long-wearing giving your skin a radiant natural finish. It is loaded with Vitamins C and E to help protect against free radicals. This is a creamy yet lightweight formula and leaves a luminous soft focus effect and is a buildable medium to full coverage.

Upon application this foundation is thick and very creamy so I would go light handed, it evens out my complexion very well but it doesn't cover my redness or blemishes with just one layer. When I use this I apply the first layer and build up the coverage to what I want and need. I have used this with a beauty blender and brush and I much prefer the beauty blender since the foundation is thick.

This foundation gives me a very beautiful and radiant finish so I do agree with the soft focus claims, my skin looks absolutely flawless. It is recommended to be applied on top of the clean and primed skin and I have to say I am an oily girl so if you have dry skin this foundation might not be for you since it can cling onto dry spots if you have any. I do hydrate my skin very well before applying this foundation since my skin is becoming a lot drier with the weather. This wears a good 8 hours on me before I start noticing it fading around my nose, forehead and chin area (basically my t-zone which I am the oiliest). Check out my Instagram selfie here (haha)  I tag all the products in the description.

COVER FX | CUSTOM COVER DROPS in G20 | £36*

The Custom Cover Drops is paraben, fragrance, mineral oil and talc free. It is also a vegan-friendly product and has 25 shades across the range. The Custom Cover Drops offer a weightless coverage that is perfectly shaded, it contains Fusion Flash  Technology Forumal allowing pigments to transform the product you love without altering their finish or texture. This provides customisable levels of coverage. One drop for sheer coverage, two drops for medium coverage, three drops for full coverage and four drops for flawless full coverage.

I have been using the Custom cover Drops to alter the coverage of my foundations and even to lighten my darker foundation shades since I am becoming a lot paler as it gets colder. I normally only use 1 drop in my trusty Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation in Light Beige and more if I am using Warm beige. It gives me a super flawless full coverage and doesn't change the consistency of my foundation. This bottle is going to last me a long while and I haven't and don't think I will be mixing it with my moisturiser since I'm either an all or nothing type of girl. I really love this and think this is a fantastic product.

COVER FX | CUSTOM ENHANCER DROPS in SUNLIGHT| £34*

The Custom Enhancer Drops is paraben, fragrance, mineral oil and talc free. It is also a vegan-friendly product. The Custom Enhancer Drops allows you to customise your favourite beauty product by adding radiance (7 shades) or a bronzed tint (2 shades). This transform to give a subtle or dramatic enhanced finish.

There are 7 ultra illuminating shades and I opted for the shade Sunlight which is a gold illuminator.  I only use the Custom Enhancer Drops to highlight mainly focusing on my cheekbones and brow bone. Sunlight on me reflects more of a light gold than what is swatched and I much prefer putting a drop on the back of my hand and then using my beauty blender to press this into my skin. Because I wear a lot of powders and matte foundation I find that when I use my fingertips I don't have enough time to blend it out as it does dry quickly. Honestly when I use this looks like I have liquid metal on my skin and it is super smooth and reflective. It is easily buildable and I change a number of drops I use depending on my makeup. This last really well on my skin even though I am oily. I really want to try the shade Blossom next which is a pearlescent pink. I do feature my makeup/skincare products on my Instagram and Instagram Story which is where you see these in action.

Overall these are all great products and they will be in my collection for a while. if you've tried these out please let me know how you got on with them in the comments below or if you have any more recommendations. As stated in the beginning of the post these were sent to me to review and are 100% my own opinion.

Hope your all having a lovely day!

Until next time!
