IOPE AIR CUSHION COVER REVIEW

Still on the hunt for a BB Cushion that suits my ever changing skin. Today I am reviewing another Korean product: Iope Air Cushion Cover which has 4 shades: Ivory, Cool Vanilla, Vanilla and Beige.

This BB Cushion claims to strengthen hydrating abilities to revive skin moisture and radiance. With  Air Prism Water which helps perfect the looks of moist skin with a deep glow. It uses a technique that evenly blends colour particles by repeatedly pushing them against each other, helping you achieve more vivid colours and meticulous coverage. The sponge has also a disco ball effect which helps deliver an even level of moisture and coverage. This Air Cushion contains SPF 50+ and PA+++ which helps protect against UV rays.

Packaging wise, its sports a very smooth and rounded holographic design. It feels sturdy but also lightweight with its plastic packaging. It has a mirror inside for easy top-ups and comes with a refill. The sponge puff is a more premium with a leather look surface and width wise it is similar to my Missha and Hera Cushion.

Beige is the darkest colour they offer and with Korean makeup brands, this seems like the 'norm' I did find the colour match to be pretty much perfect. It does not make my skin seem dull compared to the Hera Cushion (review here). Coverage wise, this is a light to medium coverage, it does help cover my blemishes a little but you can still see them through my skin, therefore, I recommend going in with a good concealer after. I found that it does not completely cover redness but it does give me an amazing dewy natural finish.

I loved this BB Cushion immediately after I finished applying the product, it gives my skin so much radiance. Throughout the day it looked amazing but towards the 6-8 hour mark it did clog up my pores sitting on top of my skin, that being mainly my t-zone area where I get oily.

The best way that this BB cushion has worked for me is immediately going in with my Mario Badescu Facial Spray to help set the skin so the product does not move when you go in to apply powder and concealers. Like most foundations, this collated around the crevice of my nose and I was quick to notice the redness around my nose coming through which I then use a powder foundation to tap back in and minimise.

So far, I still really enjoy using the BB cushion along with the Missha Cover Cushion (review here). The finishing glow just makes me want to reach for this product time and time again. They do have 3 more BB Cushions for different skin needs and it makes me want to try Intense Cover as I do like to have more coverage in my bases. Overall I do recommend this so far if you don't mind 'tapping/topping' up during the day.

Hope you enjoyed this post
