Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Range | Is it worth it?*

I am forever grateful I am on the Pixi PR list and received the Vitamin C line to try out. The Pixi Vitamin C range is one of their most recent launches which I trialled as my AM routine for a whole month. Here are my thoughts on these 5 products.
Within the collection you have:
- Vitamin C Juice Cleanser
- Vitamin C Tonic
- Vitamin C Serum
- Vitamin C Lotion
- Vitamin C Caviar Balm

Vitamin C Juice Cleanser
This is a cleansing water infused with antioxidants, it contains ferulic acid and probiotics to preserve and protect the skin. There are two application methods; either use with a cotton pad or with your hands and there is no need to rinse after.

I am not a fan of cleansing waters as I feel that it does not remove makeup that well but I followed both the application methods and used a cotton pad with this and also with my bare hands which were strange and felt like I was rubbing makeup all over - therefore I do not recommend this method. This is a good initial makeup remover but I recommend going in with a second cleanser to fully cleanse. This smells delightful but is not a product that is marketed for me.

Vitamin C Tonic
This is a toner containing probiotics to strengthen the skin barrier and willow bark and fruit extra that gently exfoliates your skin.

This has a fresh citrus scent that is carried across the collection, there is a yellow tint when you apply this onto a cotton pad but it does not transfer onto the skin, I like to swirl 3 small circles on my cotton pad which is enough product to sweep across my face and neck. This is a delight to use and makes me feel refreshed.

Vitamin C Serum
Within a pipette container, this serum claims to brighten your skin. It contains vitamin C and ferulic acid to reduce sun damage helping to improve skin tone and texture. The recommended amount is 2 to 3 drops.

I apply 3 drops on my face and gently pat this in, it has a yellow colour and is extremely gentle on the skin. This has really helped fade my dark acne marks and hyperpigmentation and I definitely have smoother and brighter skin. If there is one product you need to take note of, it's this one, I saw improvements within days of using this serum.

Vitamin C Lotion
This is a cream that contains vitamin c and helps boots collagen production and skin luminosity.

It is extremely lightweight, nourishing and easy to absorb, if you have combination skin and are looking for a brightening moisturiser I would look into this. It smells amazing and leaves my skin glowy and is a great product to seal in all that hydration.

Vitamin C Caviar Balm
This is a vitamin-infused brightening mask which is to be left on the skin, there are tiny encapsulated vitamins that melt once you rub the product in.

As I have been using the whole line as my AM routine only, I did not reach for this much as it is a mask, it felt sticky on my skin and I felt like I needed to remove it before applying makeup. I have read good reviews used as an overnight mask which is what I will do in the future so I will have to report back.

Overall
If you are looking for brightening products, I really recommend testing out this range, my stand out products are the tonic and the serum which has given me noticeably brighter and clearer appearance. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this as it has really worked on my skin which had bad acne marks. It smells amazing and Pixi has really hit their mark.

Until next time!
