Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Caviar Balm Brightening Leave On Mask Review*

What does the Caviar Balm do? How do you use it?  I was very intrigued by the Pixi leave-on brightening mask* and here are my full thoughts.

I've previously trialled the whole Pixi Vitamin C range that I was gifted and the one that I did not reach for much was this brightening leave on mask probably because I have so many masks and the term 'balm' scared me away thinking it will turn me into a greasy sticky mess.

This leave-on mask is packed with encapsulated vitamin C that brightens dull skin and improves texture, probiotics to balance and protect against free radicals and lastly ferulic acid for antiaging, promoting collagen production.

There is 45ml of product within the easy squeeze twist cap bottle. The texture looks clumpy when you squeeze it out but once you massage this in it feels like a thick cream. If you look closely you can see tiny little yellow encapsulated vitamins balls that burst when you massage it in

This mask is safe for the under-eye area and can be used both day and night. I use this as the last step of my evening routine as a sleeping mask and it does not leave me looking greasy but gives me a healthy glow. When I wake up in the morning my skin is brighter, hydrated and smooth.

I only use the brightening mask in the morning when I don't wear makeup and I do apply a lot more SPF. The mask doesn't make my skin produce too much oil during the day and stays nice and glowy. I haven't experienced any tingly effect since I use a high percentage of Vitamin C in my serums.

This is the only mask that I have been reaching for lately since I am on a Vitamin C, skin brightening high to battle my pigmentation. I love how my skin feels hydrated, smoother and looks brighter so far and I will continue to use it. I do think it's worth the price and it also smells amazing. Don't forget to check my review of the other products within the Vitamin C range.

Until next time!
