SENSO QIMAT BOOTIE IN CROC WHITE

Senso is an Australian brand founded in 1980 creating affordable fashion footwear. Senso shoes are unique, classic and effortless. I have fallen in love with the brand for quite a long time since discovering their brand on Instagram and have been following them ever since.

I picked up the Qimat Bootie in Mock Croc White, being a fan of white shoes, I am slowly building up quite a collection, these are something I definitely do not have and I got a really good deal on these.

These Qimat Booties has a pointed toe detail, cutout side, multiple straps and a 2" inch comfortable heel. I can not wait to style these in my future blog posts.

You can purchase Senso directly from Senso's Website, but there may be custom charges, or a selection is available at Very, Asos and selected departmental stores.

Have you purchased something spontaneous recently? Until next time!

5 ESSENTIALS FOR THE ALMOST (PERFECT) EYE

Yes, we are talking about our eyes. Eyes are the most prominent features everyone first draw to. Your eyes are the windows to your souls - very cliche but I had to include this. (obviously eyebrows too, but that's for another post)  For those who have naturally long and curled eyelashes, leave us with those stubborn straight spiders that never seem to curl alone.

THE WARDROBE EDIT #2

Welcome to THE WARDROBE EDIT relating to new additions in my wardrobe.
Another month has past therefore it's time to see what I have accumulated and bought over the last month. The Wardrobe Edit #1 is available to read here.

THE WARDROBE EDIT #2
ZARA SIDE SPLIT T-SHIRT
A couple of you might find this side split t-shirt  familiar, featured in my TOP 6 PICKS FOR KHAKI GREEN MILITARY, I have indeed picked it up in-stores but it does not hang right on me at all, the side split need to be a bit longer for my height (I am 5ft 5") so I will be returning this top, (It's been sitting in the house for about 3 weeks now) This is £9.99 for those who are interested.

NEW LOOK CHECK DIP HEM SHIRT
BOOHOO JUMPER DRESS
I picked these two items from my Asos order. A check shirt for £19.99 from New Look and a khaki jumper dress £18.00 from Boohoo that keeps selling out, also featured in my TOP 6 PICKS FOR THE KHAKI GREEN MILITARY TREND.

NEW LOOK GREY ROLL NECK SLEEVELESS JUMPER
As you can see I am selecting a lot more knitwear for the colder weather and picked up the Roll Neck Sleeveless Jumper £19.99 from New Look, this is extremely warm, if you work in an cold enviroment or afraid of the cold (like me) then take a look at this.

ZARA BIKER TROUSERS
ZARA BIKER TROUSERS
I came across these amazing Biker Trousers (£25.99) from Zara that has incredible zip detailing on the knee and pockets and ruched effect above the knees. They are faux leather and has an incredibly soft lining.

PRIMARK SHIRT
PRIMARK BACK ZIP DETAIL JUMPER
PRIMARK BACK DETAIL ZIP JUMPER
From a quick trip to Primark to see if I can find some long boots, I found a shirt and a jumper. The shirt is very basic with roll up sleeves and button front for £9.00, and a jumper that has a back zip detail (catches onto your hair) and a slight side split available in various colours for £10.00, which is a bargain for incorporating this season's colours.

THIGH HIGH FAUX SUEDE BOOTS
I have found 'the one' in boots. If you have been looking for over the knee/thigh high boots that are not too baggy on your knees and calves then this is the one. I have been searching constantly for the perfect over the knee boots that has a suitable height, not completely flat but has a slight heel and the right amount of embrace, meaning the fabric will not roll down your leg. These are from Forever21 for £33.00 available in black and tan, which is very inexpensive.

That's all for THE WARDROBE EDIT #2. What have you bought recently? Leave me a comment! Until next time.

PLANNING YOUR AUTUMN WINTER WARDROBE 2015

I was ready to do an outfit post on Autumn/Winter items and an idea popped into my head. How to plan your Autumn/Winter wardrobe. There are many choices available on the high street and online, we sometimes get lost finding the essentials that we actually need to help survive the Autumn/Winter season. Here is my guide to creating the perfect wardrobe.

SOURCE PINTEREST

1. CLEAN OUT YOUR WARDROBE.
Your wardrobe can only fit so many things, with time, things go out of fashion, out of colour and out of style. When we sit down and stare at our wardrobe, you might be thinking why is it bursting out of it seams? This is when we need to sit down and clean out your closet draw by draw. From this we will discover items that we have not worn in the last 12 months, and you probably won't be needing these. (Keep the sentimental items of course) A wardrobe cleanse will help refresh your mind by rediscovering items that have gotten 'lost' and could probably be incorporated into your wardrobe and also help pack away things items that you don't need which can be donated.  It may no longer be your 'it' item now but might become someone else's .

2. LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE
When you've cleansed your wardrobe, you've identified key items that can be worn again and again, and also identified items that you need or don't have enough of. This can be in the forms of basic items, shoes, bags or coats. And you need to budget these. See what you can afford on your budget, always have on your mind 'quality over quantity' and 'investment pieces ' because in the long run, it's going to be there in the next 12 months.

3.RESEARCH
If your reading this post, you probably do follow seasonal trends. Have a look on the high street and online for inspiration on items that you  may need. Always opt for a neutral wardrobe, stick with your blacks, whites and neutrals because you can not go wrong. Trust me! Look at seasonal colours, fabrics, and styles and plan a selection of must have items, these will make the biggest difference in your wardrobe and will save you £/$ in the long run. Remember that sometimes an item is only made for a season, so its only a season that your going to love the item for, so be cost effective. On another note, 'just because it's on the runway, it does not mean you need to dress that way'. Fashion is about how you dress and interpret fashion and not how fashion dresses you, think about your lifestyle. Be you!

4.LIFESTYLE CHOICES
If you are working full time, you may have a uniform wardrobe that you like to stick to and you probably only have 2 day off a week. Is your Autumn wardrobe choices sufficient to last you from the 23rd of September to 21st of December? (Google told me) approximately 8 weeks, so 16 days to wear your Autumn wardrobe if your working a full time job. And is your Winter wardrobe sufficient to last you from the 21st December to 19th March 2016 (Google told me again) Approximately 12 weeks so 24 days off + 3 days for Christmas and New year - depending what industry you work in. P.S don't forget your Christmas jumpers, Christmas parties, and Halloween outfits. Obviously this will be different if you work part-time, work at home or if your a student.

5. YOUR GO TO LOOK
When you've bought what you need, experiment and keep on experimenting. Create different outfits, by styling, changing up the accessories, add a hat maybe, and plan for events such as dinner dates or even a winter holiday wardrobe if you planning to go away. (Think long term) On another note, decide on a go to look. What's that you say? My go to casual look right now, is a V neck basic tee, a statement jacket, black jeans, slip on trainer shoes and a huge scarf depending what the weather is like. For the winter the only thing I would add or change would be a thick jumper, long boots and gloves to keep me warm and cosy.

I really do hope this has helped some of you guys! Remember to plan plan plan!.
Until next time! Joyce x

AUGUST BEAUTY FAVOURITES

AUGUST BEAUTY FAVOURITES
It's never too late to do a favourites post. In August I bought a lot, therefore I experimented and tried out quite a few products, some which have made it into my favourites. Starting with my favourite of all favourite, the Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in the shade Divine Wine, I picked up 4 shades, but Divine Wine just stood out from the rest. (See blog post here) Another favourite lipstick is the MAC Velvet Teddy, which everybody has, it is a lovely matte nude shade suitable for yellow undertones like mine.

KIKO COSMETICS HAUL

This is the one you have all been waiting for... the KIKO COSMETICS HAUL. Since a shop space in Eldon Square Shopping Center in Newcastle was boarded up with the Kiko Milano sign, I have been long awaiting for the store to open to pick up some goodies.

Kiko Milano is an extremely affordable make-up brand, my friends describe it as 'an affordable version of MAC', which I definitely agree, I picked up 11 items which came to the total of under £55. Follow through to see what I chose.

PREMIUM SILK TROUSERS

SILK TROUSERS
Vigorously rifling through my draws, trying to pull out something that is not a pair of jeans for the summer-ish weather, I rediscovered these silk trousers at the bottom of the pile. From the New Look Premium collection I knew it was something that I would some day put to use and at £9 it was a bargain I couldn't miss.
