January Favourites

Everyone will be saying January has gone by so fast and I completely agree, it's been a whirlwind. In terms of makeup and skincare, I haven't been on a splurge which is good for my bank account. Before I ramble on too much, here are my favourites.

EVE LOM ADVANCED BRIGHTENING SERUM REVIEW

 Battling with pigmentation and dark mark issues since having a cystic acne breakout, I have been using the Eve Lom Advanced Brightening Serum that helps address those problems which claim to visibly improve the appearance of uneven skin tone providing a brighter complexion. I am almost at the end of my bottle using it day and night since December.

Easily persuaded by Instagram ads, the APRILSKIN Real Calendula Peel Off Pack has been haunting me. Being the skincare junkie, I hunted this down for a while and here are my thoughts on this mask.

Triple cleansing

Since sharing my 10 Step Skincare routine, removing my makeup has been a really important step, with the number of layers of liquids, powders and cream we apply on our skin we need to make sure we remove everything. There is double cleansing and triple cleansing.

Revisiting liquid foundations

With skin changes, a foundation that you once loved may not be in that category again, I tested out these foundations over two weeks looking at longevity, finish and if they address/cover my skin concerns. This does not cover and cushion foundations or BB/CC Creams

New in skincare

Unintentionally I have been feeding the skincare addiction purchasing a few bits and bobs. I've nearly finished a few products in my collection so I will be swapping it out with some of these items.

Full face of cruelty free makeup

Going through my products, I have been more conscious of what I purchase and ethics behind cosmetics and brands. Today I have a full face of makeup that is cruelty-free.
