As promised a lot of colour has been injected into this outfit, I feel like I'm stuck in a rut on my styling so I went through my wardrobe and pulled out items that I have not worn for a long time. Yes this is a bright skirt and bag, but yellow is a spring colour which is around the corner now. 

KIKO HAUL

My Kiko Cosmetics order has finally arrived, I ordered this on New Year's Eve and it took a good two weeks to arrive, I've bought quite a few things, because I just kept adding things into my basket. The main reason why I wanted to put in a order was the CC Cushion Compact which I saw on Kiko's Instagram. I've separated these into categories. Enjoy!.

This past month I have tried to put a ban on spending, but I bought things that I couldn't miss out on, plus I had to stock up on a few items that I use everyday - so that doesn't count. I have to say I am quite pleased with myself since I have not been crazy spending especially the crazy after Christmas sales.

January is the month where we all try and hold onto our purses and not give in to sales that are still happening now. I did put myself on a ban - make-up wise I have done very well but clothing wise - it couldn't be helped.

JANUARY COHORTED BOX

I squealed when I arrived home from work seeing this on my doorstep, I just love parcels, I'm sure you do too. In this month's Cohorted Box, I recieved 4 beauty products to try out. If you didn't know, Cohorted is a beauty website that offers customers like me and you affordable beauty items. Their infamous Cohorted beauty box is a monthly box set containing a selection of must have beauty items at a price of £35.00 .

There are two sides to a every story, there are two ways to approach my outfit. As always I am all about layering, the more layers the better. I really love my Sweat Jumper from Zara, and I have only worn it one way which is with a pair of ripped jeans see here.

JANUARY BIRCHBOX

It feels like forever since I done a Birchbox post, so much festivities have happened in the last month. Getting straight into the box, this month's Birchbox is a collaboration with Pinterest so you receive some cute illustrated postcards and 6 products which include a bonus item of a compact mirror.

BELL COSMETICS CREAMY LIPSTICK REVIEW

Bell Cosmetics is a Polish company which produces Hypo-allergenic make-up exclusively sold on BeautyCrowd. On my recent lipstick binge, I purchased a few products from the same line, picking up 5 lipstick shades varying from nudes to red. The Bell Cosmetic Creamy Lipstick's claims to be smoothing, moisturising and have intensive colour.

THE OTHER ONE

'If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour' - that's the saying right? Same goes with my basic tees, jeans and yes shoes too. This post features a lovely ribbed skater dress with half sleeves from Zara.

The Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer has been on the market for a while now with 23 shades to choose from. From the name, they serve as a primer to smooth and nourish your lips with a bold statement colour.

I went to Manchester and Huddersfield just before Christmas for some time away and to visit my little sister, knowing that I was to make a trip down, I wanted to pick up a couple of things from Boots in Manchester where NYX is sold. As an american brand, NYX it's quite hard to get hold of, especially when there is a huge shipping cost and customs tax attached. I remember Next stocking NYX before it got removed a couple of years ago. 

A LITTLE RED

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you've had a lovely time with your friends and Family. I'm starting of the year with 'A little Red'. Red symbolises good fortune, good luck and joy in the Chinese culture, so you will be seeing a lot more colour in my fashion posts since Chinese New Year is around the corner (8th of February) .
