| NYX HAUL |
I went to Manchester and Huddersfield just before Christmas for some time away and to visit my little sister, knowing that I was to make a trip down, I wanted to pick up a couple of things from Boots in Manchester where NYX is sold. As an american brand, NYX it's quite hard to get hold of, especially when there is a huge shipping cost and customs tax attached. I remember Next stocking NYX before it got removed a couple of years ago.
One of the things on my must have list was the
HD Finishing Powder in shade Banana which helps reduce the appearance of an oily complexion while brightening and highlighting. I picked up a
High Definition Blush in the shade Bitten - a deep red with a slight shimmer. I really want Taupe because of Nikki Tutorials, as she uses it to contour.

I picked up 2
Hot Singles Eye Shadows - which are single eye shadows pots in the shade Cosmic - a black shade with blue shimmer looking navy and Show Girl - a metallic copper. The NYX Hot Single eye-shadows are extremely pigmented and smooth, the pots also have a cute bow at the closure of the lid.
The NYX lip products are quite famous and overwhelming with the amount of different shades and forular options. I picked up one of latest release of the
Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick which is a matte lip moose/cream formula, choosing the colour Sand Storm which is a brown nude. Adding into my basket the
Soft Matte Lip Cream's in Copenhagen - a deep plum and Cannes - a pink mauve. I love how these lippies are named after famous cities, there is a huge collection which I am excited to try out.

DeleteI'd love to be able to get hold of some more NYX products! I have a few of their blushes that a friend sent me, including Taupe which totally deserves the hype! I also have one of their Butter Glosses & love it. Their eyeshadows look like MAC, maybe it's just the packaging. Xx

DeleteIf you visit there again, be sure to pick up some of the Nude Matte Shadow singles. They're some of the best matte drugstore eyeshadows I've found.

DeleteI love the matte lipsticks. Unfortunately since I moved to Australia, it seems darn near impossible to get my hands on them. They're always sold out in stores and its just so expensive to ship here. I'll just have to wait for my next trip home to stock up!
