'If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour' - that's the saying right? Same goes with my basic tees, jeans and yes shoes too. This post features a lovely ribbed skater dress with half sleeves from Zara.
In my previous fashion post (here) I wore the same style dress, but in a bright red shade, which created a lovely contrast against my black combo. In this outfit, with the Zara grey dress (shop here) being a neutral shade, I paired it together with my Topshop green coat (link here)which kept me toasty through the blistering wind and rain, the green shade also helps brighten your whole appearance by straying from bold black as the main focus.
For accessories I added; a fringed scarf to build texture and dimension, my trusty over the knee boots (link here) to avoid showing too much leg and for protection against the rain and lastly a small bag - because I needed my hands free to hold an umbrella.
I know many people who buy the same style of item in different shades. What do you pick?
(P.s my hair was stuck to my head because of the rain haha)
Until next time!

Haha, I totally do this! Especially with jeans, If I find a pair of jeans that fit well, I buy just about every shade in my size.

Such a great outfit! I will buy the same shorts and jeans in different colors if I can find that perfect fit for the exact reason that I struggle to find a good cut that I feel confident in!
