JANUARY COHORTED BOX

I squealed when I arrived home from work seeing this on my doorstep, I just love parcels, I'm sure you do too. In this month's Cohorted Box, I recieved 4 beauty products to try out. If you didn't know, Cohorted is a beauty website that offers customers like me and you affordable beauty items. Their infamous Cohorted beauty box is a monthly box set containing a selection of must have beauty items at a price of £35.00 .

First up is the Cargo Cosmetics Lip Gloss Quad in Argentina (£15.00). This Lips Gloss Quad gave me a autumnal vibe, you get a deep plum (left), a gold (top), shimmer plum (right) and rose gold (bottom) shades. They are all very pigmented especially gold and deep plum and contains a lot of glitter especially 'shimmer plum' (shade on the right). The colours are beautiful and you can opt for a sheer look or build it up, I'm really happy that I got it in my box. Last year, I've been into my matte lip products, but since the new year has started I've been reaching for gloss to apply over my lipsticks since the weather is really dry. When I opt for deeper shades I will be reaching for these, they also have no scent and is not too tacky.

Say hey to my reflection there. The next beauty item is the Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in the shade Carrie & Big (£28.00). I am in love with the Too Faced packaging, it is very girly and the name is also in reference to Sex and The City's couple : Carrie & Big - It makes me want to watch SATC again.  Back to the product, the bronzer has a warm undertone and contains shimmer. I prefer my bronzers to be matte therefore this is more of a illuminating powder for me, for a all over face application, swatching this on my hand is definitely not giving the product enough justice, it looks amazing on my skin. The blush is also a coral shade which would look incredible in the summer, I know I will be reaching for this a lot, not to mention the mirror is very handy.

Next up is another Too Faced product, the Lip Injection Color Bomb in the shade Bigger Berry (£19.00). You can tell by the name it is a lip plumping product and it was one of the first lip plumping products that launched in the beauty market. The product is a lip balm and contains Vitamin A, C, E and mango butter, therefore a lot of moisture and hydration for your lips. I already have full lips, therefore I won't be testing this out.

The last item in the box is the Lancome Le Correcteur Pro in the shade 03 Bisque (£29.00). This is a concealer palette with a setting powder, I'm sure everyone got the same concealer shade, it's a shame that you can't choose your skin tone and this is unfortunately too dark for me, the middle colour is a salmon colour which I can work with to counteract my dark circles, the setting powder is very fine, which is great for setting under-eye concealer to prevent creasing, The packaging is compact and easy to carry around - if only I could work with all the shades.

That is all in my box, I am excited to receive the next one, which contains the Chanel Illusion D'ombre as a sneak peek. Don't forget to subscribe and until next time!.

  6. This looks great! Good to see they're not just offering Calvin Klein body lotions in all boxes lol. Is the subscription worth it as it's quite pricey ? Www.glitzandglamourmakeup.co.uk

    1. It used to more affordable at £19.99 at a non-subscription service but you had to be by the computer when it launched at 6pm on a wednesday in order to get your hands on it. So far I'm pretty impressed with what I received so far and it's worth a lot more with better brands x

  7. Wow! That is an amazing box! In fact, it's probably one of the best beauty boxes I've seen in a long time. Loving the 2 Too Faced products - I have been eyeing up that bronzer for a little while. Don't you just hate when your reflection shows in a product! Grrr I hate trying to photograph a really shiny product! :) x
