CIATE X OLIVIA PALERMO SMOKEY SUEDES PALETTE REVIEW

I have been talking about the Ciate X Olivia Palermo collection for quite a while now and I am happy to announce that my collection is complete and I have a quick review for you. The Smoky Suedes Palette was sold out in my local Superdrug. I have been waiting for them to re-stock in-stores which still hasn't happened. I also found it difficult to get hold of via Birchbox (I had points to spend).

The packaging compliments the other make-up in the Olivia Palermo line, it has a beautiful pebbled leather look with gold trim and a wide clear mirror. The names of the shades are not printed on the palette which is a shame, since I can't throw away the cardboard packaging.

The palette is £35 - it is quite pricey, but I absolutely adore it, it is beautiful, pigmented and compact (a great size to travel with - I will take this with me when I go to Hong Kong this May). The palette contains a total of 9 shades and the reason why I was drawn to this palette more is because of the green (Verde) and the other compatible colour options that suit my skin tone and the looks I go for. Green is also my favourite colour, I still have yet to wear Verde (green) but all the other shades I have used almost daily.

The eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, creamy and easy to work with. If you are a fan of using a couple of shades together you are going to love this palette since the colours compliment each other. I can use up to 5 shades at a time, since I like a gradient look and well blended effect. I always use an eyeshadow primer before applying any eyeshadows since I have oily eyelids - the shadows stay on all day until I remove my make-up. (I currently use the Urban Decay's Primer Potion). This palette has all the shades you need to create a day to night look.

I hope you love this palette as much as I do! My other Ciate X Olivia Palermo post is available here.  What's your trusty palette at the moment?
Until next time!
