BOURJOIS HOLIDAY VOX BOX WITH INFLUENSTER*

This is my second Vox Box I have received from Inflenster which is a platform where people share their reviews from beauty to food. You get chosen to review their boxes they send out and this is based on #HolidayLooks using Bourjois products.

HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION* | £9.99 & CONCEALER £8.99 *
As you all know the Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix foundation is one of my favourites along with the Healthy Mix concealer which I have mentioned here. So I basically have back ups in my collection. The Healthy Mix Foundation and Concealer is medium Coverage. I would class the foundation as dewy since it looks like you are naturally glowing and you can see in my photograph it does not fully cover my blemishes and spots. The concealer has a satin finish and it beautifully brightens my undereye area. If you haven't tried these before you need to.

BLUSH* | £6.49
I've never tried the blushers from Bourjois before and I always meant to since they come in such little cute packaging, I have the shade 34 Rose D'or it has a mirror on the lid and a brush applicator. The brush applicator is a bit curved and to be honest, the applicator isn't great quality. However the blush is super pigmented, it looks like a baked blush since it reflects a little bit orange, although the blush itself looks very vibrant it reminds me of barbie pink but in a toned down way with an orange iridescent undertone. I'm not one that usually reaches for such bright blushers but they do have a big colour range. Lastly one of the things that will probably put people off is the scent, it has a strong rosy scent so if you don't like roses this is not for you and I can tell you I sneezed when I smelt this.
SMOKY STORIES* | £7.99
I'm not one that goes for eyeshadow quads and honestly, the quality in these shadows have surprised me. They are pigmented but in that buildable way, it's super soft and easy to blend. What surprised me is the middle shade which is straight up glitter that is used as a topper or to highlight. It comes with those spongey eyeshadow applicators which honestly no one uses. The packaging is a little curved so when I was dipping my eyeshadow brush in it was rocking about. The overall colour selection is really good but I much prefer eyeshadow palettes. I nearly forgotten to mention my quad is 15 brilliant prunette.

PUSH UP MASCARA* £8.99
Now I'm really picky with mascaras, not because I'm annoying but I have small eyes so big mascara wands are a no-no for me. Having straight Asian lashes any mascara that claims to push up my eyelashes are not going to work. The applicator to give you voluminous lashes but in that spidery clumpy way. I don't have anything against it but I'm not going to keeping it in my collection.

METALLIC LIP CREAM* £7.99
These are a new product that is available in stores now. I received 3 colours, 100 (Guiled Rose), 300 (Supernova) and 500 (neon nights). These feel more like a metallic lip gloss with the pigmented qualities. If you've tried the Colourpop Metallic Lips it reminds me of them but in a more sticky way. The shades are like molten metal and you can see the little glitter particles which are going to be great for this season.

The applicator has two flat sides so it picks up the product well but the wand is very bendy. The lip creams don't have the names on the packaging so I had to guess what these are called based on the Superdrug website. The shade #500 is super vibrant I tried to put this on but with having full lips it just does not look right on me. The other two are much wearable but I will use it as a mixer with other lip products. If you are looking for something fun and enjoy experimenting with makeup I think you should check these out.

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT : #500 NEON LIGHTS , #100 GUILDED ROSE, #300 SUPERNOVA

OVERALL
I did indeed use all these products for my look and I really liked the eyeshadows especially the colour quad that I received, with me having a small eyelid, eyeshadow application is very limited. And I used the lip creams with other lip products. How do you feel about the metallic trend?I hope you've enjoyed my review and found it helpful!

Until next time!

  1. These products look lovely on you! I like the sound of the lip products as they're metallic but I'm not so much a fan of gloss, it'd be a lot better if they were matte!
