The foundation claims to be breathable and weightless leaving skin matte all day long. It claims to cover all imperfection and resist humidity and sweat. This is developed for asian skin tone with only 14 shades in the range. The foundation is in a simple glass bottle with a pump and has SPF 38.
Shade range
With 14 shades within the range, it is divided into 3 main categories that being undertone. P/PO is for cool undertones, O is for neutral undertones and B/BO is for warm undertones. I really like when foundations are separated as undertones rather than randomly guessing shade names as undertones pay a huge factor in getting the right shade. I have the Shade BO02 with is for warm undertones for light skin. I would of preferred O02 but I had difficulty getting a hold of it.
Formula and Finish
The foundation itself is very liquidy like water and 2 pumps of foundation is enough to cover imperfections. It has a semi-matte finish and with having oily skin I really need to set this with powder. The Laura Mercier Translucent powder makes my skin matte for longer but around the 6-7 hour mark I do look a little shiny but in a healthy glowy way.
Does is survive sweat and humidity?
I have been doing a 30 minute workouts and the foundation stays put but you just start to look a little glowy earlier. I am not a face toucher but when I need rests breaks during my workout a little does transfer onto the mat but it could have been my cream bronzer.
Overall
I really do like this foundation but personally it does not last for 16 hours since I have oily skin, the semi matte finish would be good for normal skin therefore you must set the foundation if you are on the oily side. I like how this lasts through workouts and it would be great for the Hong Kong weather. My sister says it's one of the best foundations I have worn since it looks so natural and flawless. I probaly would repurchase in the future when I finish the bottle.
Since this is the Hong Kong edition, I do believe the Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24 hour foundation is similar with 45 shades across the line.

It has been a while since I used a Lancome foundation, but I remember it being a really great base. I should definitely check out some of their latest offerings, including this one.

The July Rose
I have been wanting to try a Lancome foundation as it's one brand I haven't yet tried. However, as I have quite oily skin I might stay away from this one. I usually set every foundation I try but somehow, my oil still manages to peep through after an 8/9 hour day haha x
