CURRENT EYE-TO-GO PALETTE

Since discovering eye primer last summer, I have been constantly using eye-shadow to change my look.  My current 'to-go' palette is the Stila 'In the moment' palette, which contains 10 eye-shadows ranging from white, purples, dark browns and black. RRP £25.00.

 

 The top row consists of 5 colours: instinct, impulse, glance, improvise and catalyst.

- Instinct is your shimmer white, great for highlighting inner eye corners and eyebrow bone.

- Impulse is a lilac colour with shimmer.

- Glance is a matte purple and looks very vivid in the palette.

- Improvise is dark brown with shimmer.

- Catalyst is a vivid black with red glitter particles.

The bottom row consists of the colour names: desire, wonder, spontaneous, whim and captivate.

- Desire is a matte yellow toned shade, great for blending the crease area,
- Wonder is a rose gold toned shimmer.
- Spontaneous is a gold toned shimmer.
- Whim, I would describe as a burnt metallic orange.
- Captivate is a bronze brown.

Whim and Captivate reminds me of very pigmented baked eye-shadows.

My edition of  'In the moment' palette came with the smudge stick waterproof eyeliner in the shade tetra. Tetra is a deep shimmery purple shade. 

I have always been a fan of Stila's eyeliner, as they do not smudge throughout the day and stays put.

Last of all, I have been constantly 'Tweeting' and 'Instagramming' make-up looks that I have created with the palette. I am not a professional, I just experiment and know what looks good with my eye shape and my skin tone. I have used the palette for day and night looks, if you like the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, you would like this.
