FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

I have been incredibly busy this month, but I have some great favourites to share. I have tried some new products and discoveries, some which I can now not live without. Thinking back I haven't purchased a lot of beauty items. I do need to clear some of my draws and use up some of my make-up,

Starting of with eye products. The first two weeks I was completely obsessed with the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette - the shades framed, bitten, pandemonium, have been my go to. When my Ciate X Olivia Palermo Smoky Suedes palette arrived, I became obsessed with that palette too, I have switching these up depending on my mood, they are both extremely pigmented and creamy.

For face related products. The first item has so to be the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm which I have been using as a primer - this has been all the hype because of Nikki Tutorials, It helps my make-up stay on flawlessly throughout the day. I have incredibly sensitive skin and this works amazing for me and I have not broken out.

The next item is the Freedom Pro Brow Pomade in Ash Brown - I have heard that this is the dupe for the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Pomade which I have yet to try. This creates a very precise point and mimics your brow hair easily with a angled brush. There is also a huge colour selection for every hair colour.

I have been using the Spectrum Collections Tapered Finishing Brush to set my undereye concealer, this brush is incredibly soft, very girly and I now own the 10 piece set which I purchased from Birchbox, The Spectrum brushes have a very ethereal and elusive feel to them. They have a siren collection which reminds me of unicorns are to die for. The Spectrum Collection brushes are vegan and cruelty free.

For foundation this month I have been constantly reaching for the EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation another item influenced by Nikki tutorials. The foundation creates a skin-like flawless finish and dries down to a semi-matte finish. The foundation has a thick consistency and I only need one pump of product for a my whole face, I find buffing the product using a brush is better than using my beauty blender.

Lastly I have been loving the bronzer blush duo by Ciate X Olivia Palermo in shade Bluff point. The bronzer works with my skin tone very well, is easy to blend and build-able. The blush is a dusky pink, which creates a summery rosy cheek effect.

Lastly for lips, I have been loving Ciate X Olivia Palermo's Creamy Lipstick in Praline - a beautiful brown nude colour. The lipstick has a semi-matte finish, I do sometimes find this drying so apply a little Rimmel Oh My Gloss!, which helps hydrate and make the lipstick last longer.

That's all for my February favourites. What are your favourites this month?
Until next time!

  1. Ciates products are amazing at the moment! That palette is so pretty and love their bronze/blush duo! I haven't heard of ex-1 before, going to have to look at their range! Still need to try the Nivea balm, so glad it hasn't broke you out. I was worried about that x
