The face duos were the main reasons of the whole order, I really wanted to try out their pressed bronzers, blushers and highlighters. I picked up both of the duo's, Topaz and Double Play. Topaz is part of the Alexis Ren collaboration. The bronzer is called Golden Moment, a warm matte bronzer and She's Here To Stay which is a gold highlighter, mine, unfortunately, arrived smashed but I have pressed it back together. Double Play consists a blusher called Getting Handsy, a warm matte nude which I honestly thought was a bronzer and Padded Down a pink champagne highlighter.
My thoughts so far, the bronzer (Golden Moment) and the blusher (Getting Handsy) are incredibly pigmented and smooth to apply, It blends so well on top of your foundation and other powders and I really like them.
The highlights, on the other hand, are okay.... just okay, when I was pressing She's Here To Stay back together I absolutely loved the pigment but when it comes to actually applying this onto my cheeks it doesn't really show up. I find that the shimmer is a bit bitty. Not chalky but I can see specks of the shimmer which makes it a bit uneven on my skin. I think I need to find another method to apply this highlighter since my fan brush is not doing it any justice.
Onto the eyes. Of course, I wanted to try out the pressed eyeshadows. I picked up Note To Self a matte caramel brown shade if you like your warms shades I truly recommend this one, the pigment is incredible and so easy to blend out. I also picked up High Strung which is described as a metallic dusty rose colour, I find that it doesn't pack as quite the punch and looks much lighter than what it is in the pan.I also have to say you need to use your fingers to apply this since it's not very even and does not transfer quite as well. If I were to pick up more shades I'm more likely to opt for the matte finishes.
I also picked up the Empty Magnetic Palette which fits up to 12 eyeshadows, this was $7 and it's in such a cute white packaging. I'm going to use this as my travel palette and put my depotted and single eyeshadows into it. It's about the size of my hand and is going to be good to create a custom palette. The last item I picked up from the eye section is the Brow Pencil. I picked up the shade Banging Brunette and I am really liking it so far. I like the spoolie at the end of the brush and the extra slim pencil, I feel like I'm twisting up the pencil a lot since I barely have any brows so it might run out quite fast. I received the Flat Shader Brush free from picking up two pressed eyeshadows. This synthetic brush picks up the Super Shock Shadows so well and it the best brush I've used for the Super Shock Shadows to get the full pigment.
Lastly, onto the lips, I picked up a few lip products. The Ultra Satin Lip in Aquarius is a Kathleen Light collaboration. Aquarius is described as a soft pink nude but it looks a bit light for my complexion. As you all know I love the USL but I'm not sure about this colour so far.
I picked up the newest formula they realised, the Ultra Blotted Lip in the shade Zuma. It is described as a warm rosy mauve and I totally agree with it. On me, it looks like one of those 'my lips but better' shades and the formula feels like a lightweight gloss when you apply. When it dries down it turns into a beautiful and comfortable matte finish, it just looks so natural. I will be posting an Instagram picture of me wearing this soon so keep an eye out. This is my favourite colour out of all that I picked up.
Since having Aquarius in the Lippie Stix form I really wanted to try out more shades, I picked up Brink which is in a matte formula. Brink is described as a terracotta rose shade but on me it more of a coral shade and looks brighter. It's very comfortable on the lips but it is a bit brighter than what I was opting for.
I picked up another Lippie Stix in the Shade Grunge which is a matte formula, the shade is described as a mid-toned red, I've yet to wear this but it's very similar to Maybelline Divine Wine which is my favourite deep matte red.
Lastly is a Mini Ultra Satin Lip which I got free, this is in the shade Strip. It is described as a warm beige but personally it doe does not look that good on my yellow skin tone, it looks like an orangery-grey nude on me and just washes my complexion out.
That is all for my huge Colourpop haul, I've also posted a 'New In Skincare and Beauty' featuring other brands and products so don't forget to check that out. There are definitely hits and misses in this purchase and it's going to be a while until my next Colourpop order unless they come out with more awesome Ultra Blotted Lips. Like always I use My Mall Box to ship all my goodies from the US, please use my referral code here!
Haven't seen the face duos yet, shame the highlight isn't all that. Still want Topaz though! I need to do another order! Xx

I have one of the face duos and find the highlighter applies really well if you use an angled blusher brush to apply it. It comes up much less patchy!
