MINIMAL MAKEUP

It has been almost a year since I've done a minimal makeup post, today I'm sharing the minimal of all minimal that I use to create a fast, easy and somewhat alive look. I do apologise that there are so many Colourpop products but I am obsessed and they are somewhat new to my collection.

THE ORDINARY COVERAGE FOUNDATION £5.90

I did wait a while before I picked this up since I wanted to read a couple of reviews before I actually tried it myself. This is claimed as a full pigment foundation, I have done a whole review on this so don't forget to check it out here. It does look natural but I only wear this for a couple of hours since I tend to get a bit shiny/oily.

COLOURPOP NO FILTER CONCEALER $6

I still have mixed feelings about this concealer, it conceals but the coverage isn't as fantastic as everyone says, I picked up Light Neutral 15 and I do like how it brightens my undereye area but because it is a matte finish it does enhance any fine lines you have around your eyes.

COLOURPOP PRESSED POWDER BRONZER $8

This is currently my favourite bronzer to warm up my skin, it does not have any shimmer and really brightens my complexion especially when my foundation is too light, I also love wearing this on my eyelids to give my eyes some depth, it builds up really well and applies smoothly.

COVER FX CUSTOM ENHANCER DROPS £34

I use the Custom Enhancer Drops as a highlight, the shade that I have is called Sunlight which is a beautiful light gold. You can go subtle with this or you can go all out as it creates a super smooth molten metal look. I wear this on my cheekbones a lot and you can mix this with your foundation for a dewy look.

COLOURPOP BROW PENCIL $5

One of my go-to brow pencils, this has a waxy formula and it can create the most natural brow, I love the applicator since it is very slim and the spoolie is wonderful to blend out your colour. The colour I have is bangin' brunette and I want to pick up a darker shade next time.

COLOURPOP LIPPIE STIX $5

Aquarius is my go-to pink nude lipstick which is wonderful to moisturise your lips and add some colour. This smells absolutely divine and because it is a creme finish it is pigmented enough to cover your natural lip colour. It's easy to apply because of the bullet and affordable if you can get your hand on it.

INNISFREE SKINNY WATERPROOF MASCARA £16.69

I only go for mascara's that are waterproof since I have oily eyelids, this mascara contains fibres which helps lengthen and define your lashes. The wand is also super skinny which is wonderful for people like me who have short lashes as it coats everything.

This is minimal of all minimal and I wear this on my days off. Have you tried any of these products? Don't forget to enter my #giveaway here!

Until next time!

  1. I've heard so many different reviews about the Ordinary foundation, some people absolutely swear by it, but others just aren't big fans. I guess it's all dependant on your skin, so I think I'm going to have to try it out for myself! I also love Aquarius from ColourPop, such a beautiful shade! Fab post xx

  3. I've heard quite mixed reviews about the colourpop concealer, mainly due to the dryness but also that apparently it oxidizes quite a bit, so I'm really intrigued to try it out myself and see what I think! xx

  6. I love quick and easy makeup looks - as I have the kids I don’t have a lot of time to spend doing makeup so it’s good to find products that provide a quick fix! I haven’t tried the colourpop range yet so will have to check it out x

  7. I really need to do a Colourpop haul as they seem to have so many lovely products but the custom charges put me off so much! The Cover FX drops sound and look fabulous from what I've seen too, so much pigment in their products!
