EYES
I normally start off with my eyes in case of any fallout. For brows, I went in with the Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil, this is a buildable product allowing you to control how bold you want your brow to be. Eyeshadow Primer is vital for a longer lasting base and it also enhances the colours of your eyeshadow, I have been using the Urban Decay Primer Potion for years. For eyeshadows I went in with two palettes; the Ardere Jewels and Smokey Palette. I used Nude as an overall base to set my primer, for transitional colours I used Classic which is a matte warm brown and Citrine a terracotta burnt orange shade. For outer corner depth, I went in with Smoulder, a matte dark brown. The main focus was Topaz which I applied on the first half the eyelid, it is a stunning gold-copper shimmer. I use the same shades for my lower lash line.
After curling my lashes, I apply 1 coat of the L'oreal Lash Paradise Mascara and apply some false eyelashes, these ones are from Koko Lashes in 501, they have a thin band which makes it comfortable to wear and they are super wispy. For inner water line and to cover the lash band I used the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
BASE
Prepping your skin is very important for everything that you apply on top to sit nicely. I usually mask the night before and use any leftover serum as part of my skincare routine. For foundation I went with Milani Conceal and Perfect Foundation in Creamy Vanilla, this is a medium to full coverage foundation and even though it claims to be oil free it has this glowy finish throughout the day as my skin is oily and dry.For concealer, I stick with my go-to Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer. I use Shade 2 to highlight and brighten my under eyes, Shade 4 to further concealer blemishes. This is a full coverage concealer and has a semi-matte finish that does not dry out your skin.
To set my under eyes, I go in with the RCMA No Colour Powder, I also use this lightly on my t-zone where I get a little oil. I use another powder from Proto-Col which is a Mineral Baked Foundation in the shade Dover to add a little colour and start that off as my bronzer, it provides more coverage to my skin and everything I apply on top sits smoothly.
BRONZE, BLUSH + HIGHLIGHT
I normally stick with the same products for bronzer, that being the Benefit Hoola Bronzer along with Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light. For blush, I used the shade Garnet in the Ardere Jewels palette which is warm peach shade. To highlight I went in with Charlotte Tilbury's Film Star Bronze and Glow which has a stunning golden champagne colour, applying this on the high points of my cheeks, cupid's bow, nose bridge, brow bone and inner eye corner.
FINISHING TOUCHES
To set my overall hard work, I have still been using the Mario Badescu Facial Spray which gets rids of any powdery look you may have. For my lip colour, I wanted something a little bolder going in with Mac Taupe a matte burnt red shade.
Until next time!
