Current Everyday Makeup

It's been a while since I stuck to the same products for over a week and with Chinese New Year being such a busy period, I did not have that time to play with new products. These are now my go-to products. If you follow me on Instagram you should be familiar with a few of these.

Foundation + Concealer

Needing a long-lasting base for all the festivities, the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation  (review) gives me flawless full coverage finish covering all my blemishes and redness, as the shade is too dark (Buff) I mix with L.A. Girl Pro Coverage in White.

My go-to concealer has been the Ardere Flawless Concealer in Shade 2 + 4 for 2-3 years, using shade 2 to highlight and concealer my under eyes and also as a base for my eyeshadow. Shade 4 is for further covering dark marks. I also use the Maybelline Eraser Eye to clean up and sharpen/contour underneath my cheekbone.

Powders

To set all the areas where concealer is applied I use the RCMA No Colour Powder and a Beauty Blender to set/bake those areas for a few seconds. On the other areas of my face, I use the Proto-col Baked Mineral Foundation in Dover as a setting powder adding colour to the outer perimeter of my face, it also fived me extra coverage on those areas.

I use a couple of bronzers to build up a defined face using the Ciate London Bluff Point (Bamboo Bronzer) first creating shadow and then Hourglass Bronze Light and Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow to further add colour. For blush I go in with the Hourglass Mood Exposure and highlight, I stick with the CT Filmstar Bronze and Glow applying to the highpoints of my profile.

Eyes

The Ardere Smokey Palette is the only palette I have been reaching for, mainly the shades Nude to set the concealer and Classic a warm caramel brown all over the eyelid. For liner, I have been trying to use up the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and for my mascara, the L'oreal Lash Paradise is a go-to as it lengthens and volumizes my lashes.

Brows

I have been a pomade girl for a while and use the Freedom Brow Pomade in ash brown with an angled Spectrum brush, it helps fills in the blank patches in my brows and can be used light or heavy-handed, to define my brow tail and brush my brows though I use the Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil.

Lips

I have stuck with Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk for a while, it is a matte lipstick and is a beautiful everyday pink that smells of Vanilla Cupcakes. The finish is not drying at all and is easy to reapply throughout the day.

Setting Spray

The Mario Badescu Facial Spritz has a few uses, for skin benefits such as hydration and calming and can also help set your makeup for the day getting rid of any powdery look you have. I have gone through bottles of these since it does not irritate my skin.

That is all for my everyday makeup products. What is yours like?

Until next time!
