Biore Perfect Sun Milk SPF50 PA++++ Review

Drugstore shopping always means you are leaving with more items and possibly not even picking up what you were searching for. I picked up the Biore Perfect Milk Sunscreen to test out and here are my thoughts on this affordable SPF.

What is it?
Biore is a well known Japanese brand known for their pore strips and skincare products, within Asia, Biore covers most counters and is an easily picked up item. This sunscreen is a milk, which means it is lightweight and easy to absorb. It contains Zinc Oxide, Octinoxate, Uvinul A Plus, Titanium Dioxide and Tinosorb S which gives full UVB, UVA1 and UVA2 protection. This is suitable to apply on both face and body and is resistant to sweat and sebum. There is 40ml of the product inside and is waterproof for 80 minutes.

On the skin...
There is no white cast and as mentioned before it is very lightweight when blended in it is undetectable. There is a light floral scent but disappears so if you are sensitive to fragrance this does not hurt my sinuses. When I apply this after my skincare, I always give it a good shake as it contains a tiny ball inside that mixes the product together in case of separation.

My verdict
This leaves my skin matte and as an oily combination girl at first I thought it was great but this dries out my skin especially on my t-zone where I am oiliest which in turns makes my pores produce more sebum leaving me with separated and cracking foundation/base quite early on throughout the day around the 3 to 4 hour mark. One good thing about this sun milk is that I haven't broken out which happens quite often when I try new sunscreens. This isn't for me but I will be finishing it up until I pick up another sunscreen to try out.

UPDATE: After using this for a couple of more weeks my face is noticeably more tanned and I will not be using this again as it is not protecting my skin from UV radiation. I apply a lot of product so I definitely know it's the sun milk not doing it's job.

Have you tried this sunscreen?

Until next time!
