Revolution Skincare Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask Review | Dupe?

Revolution is known for their 'dupe' products and venturing into the skincare territory, I picked up the Pink Clay Detoxifying Face Mask which easily reminds me of the Sand and Sky and also Alya Skin which is both Australian brands best known for their best pink clay. Is this is a successful dupe or shall we stick to the original?

The detox mask comes in a sturdy glass jar with 50ml of product retailing for £8. The product itself is a pretty pastel pink colour, there is a slight scent but wears away when you apply it on your skin.

The mask claims to draw out impurities and absorb oil to promote healthier skin. It contains seaweed which we know is soothing and moisturising and witch hazel that helps with breakouts. This is also cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.

I use a generous amount of product with a makeup brush to apply this mask for even application, I get this slightly tingly feeling which reminds me of The Body Shop Himalayan Glow Mask but not as extreme. The pastel pink colour dries down to a light pink/white colour and you can see where the oils are pulled from your pores. I leave the mask on for a recommended 10 to 15 minutes and the mask turns hard so if you're planning on talking that's going to be difficult.

The mask is really easy to wash off and your skin immediately feels clean and baby butt soft, my pore sizes are a lot smaller and the next day my face is not as greasy. One of the best things about this mask is that I have not broken out with my sensitive skin.

Would I recommend this mask? Absolutely! For a fraction of the price, this mask is just as good, using it long term will definitely benefit your skin in terms of reducing breakouts and blemishes and getting smoother skin. For £8 this is a must-try and I will look into their other masks.

Until next time!
