JUNE BIRCHBOX | FRENCH SOLE

I usually post on the same day I receive my beauty boxes through the door, but I have been really busy - busy meaning productive so that makes it all alright. Now getting into this months birchbox - it's a collaboration with French Sole, giving you a chance to win their shoe collection. French sole is a popular shoe brand worn by Poppy Delevingne and Olivia Palermo - both fashion inspirations. Getting back to the flat shoes - I personally are not a fan because it tends to hurt my feet, I need something with a little height or a thick platform in order for me to make it through a day.

Like always birchbox emails you before they send out your beauty box as they sometimes have variations/different products of the same brand they send out, allowing you to pick your preference. This months was choosing the design of the box and the matching shoe bag that you receive in your little box. I choose the French nautical theme as you can see, and I think it is quite cute, although I might not use it necessarily for shoes, I can put makeup in, or it can be used as a good storage solution. HIP | ULTRA SHINE SHAMPOO | £19 

Contains peppermint and eucalyptus oils to refresh and transform hair. Obviously the shampoo has peppermint oils in, but it reminds my of teatree spot treatment products, which tends to dry up your spots basically, I hope it leaves my hair hydrated and not dry, I have a habit of trying new shampoo and then get really pissed because my hair gets so tangled up because the product drys my hair out- but that's another story. 

REN | KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL INSTANT FIRMING BEAUTY SHOT | £36

Contains hyaluronans liquid which helps plumps up the skin, helps diminishes wrinkles and makes the skin firmer. The product is a gel-serum which tells you it will instantly absorb into your skin and has a rose fragrance. REN is a really well known skincare brand that I have come across a few times, it don't think this will disappoint.

BALANCE ME | SUPER MOISTURISING BODY WASH | £9

Contains calming yarrow and patchouli oil and Shea butter to soften, hydrate and cleanse the skin. This product is sulphate free, has a really strong scent which I do expect to linger on throughout the day.  Balance me is increasingly popular in beauty boxes and I have a range of products that  I am to try out. 

MODEL CO | POWERLASH BLACK MASCARA | £14

Has a fat full brush applicator, helps define and lengthen lashes. I find the applicator picks up a bit too much product, so when you close the items, the mascara lingers onto the opening of the tube. Not sure if it waterproof or not as it has not been mentioned.

PENHALIGONS | IRIS PRIMA | £85

A perfume with bergamot top notes, musky sandalwood and sweet vanilla. Smells a bit too strong for my liking, it's the kind of smell that gives you an headache, so not my cup of tea.

STYLONDON | TEMPORARY METALLIC TATTOOS | £7.99

The new way to accessorise outfits. Can be used on nails too. I have seen these everywhere and I have many different brands to try out.
