Welcome to THE VANITY EDIT #10 , sharing all relating to NEW skincare, body, make-up and hair-care items. THE VANITY EDIT series is available to read here. All my purchases this month were made after payday last month. My normal Birchbox subscription has some exciting products, all available to read.
Does anyone spend a lot of time browsing for makeup that we can't get in the UK, I came across the RMCA Powder that was much raved about by Kathleen Lights. I believe it was sold out for a while but you can easily purchase it now on Love Make Up. My sisters wedding is around the corner and I needed a setting spray, I've heard many good things about the Urban Decay Chill Setting Spray developed by Skindinavia. And lastly from this photograph I bought another set of the Spectrum Collection brushes, in the 8 Piece Eye Blending Set since it was on offer.
It Cosmetics is finally available in the UK from QVC. I immediately pre-ordered it however I have sent it back since the shade was too light for me. I'm still not too sure on the coverage as I feel like it's not working for me. It says to warm it up between your fingers and blend, but it doesn't give me the coverage that I need. If you have this let me know how you use it.
Boots all over the UK, in my previous trip to Huddersfield I picked up a few items that I have been wanting to try out. Dark Circle Concealer, HD Concealer, Matte Lipstick in Sierra, HD Blush in Taupe. My full haul is available to read here.
One of the newest releases in the UK is the Loreal Paris Nude Cushion Foundation, the US version is called the Lumi cushion, I believe this is the same but correct me if I'm wrong, it has a build-able medium coverage with a dewy finish. There are 7 shades, see my first impressions here.
I always love my monthly Birchbox, in this edition I received the Unicorn Tears Wonder Sponge by Spectrum Collections and the other most exciting item was the Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Cleansing Cloths which I am going to test out while I go to Hong Kong.
That all for my new additions. I hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time!
