WEEK IN LIPSTICKS #1

We all own so many lipsticks and then we keep on purchasing more because it is simply never enough. These have been my favourites that I have been using non-stop last week - they are majority are newer to my lip collection and I presumably will be using these non-stop until I go through my lip drawers or when my Colourpop order arrives.

Before I continue babbling, let's get right into it. The first product is a Lippie Stix called Aquarius from Colourpop. It is a collab with Kathleen Lights and comes in a lip pencil as well.  Aquarius has a creme finish which is a medium coverage lipstick with a slight sheen. This is the lightest pink nude I would opt for my yellow skin tone and pigmented lips. The Lippie Stix smells like coconuts and wears off nicely throughout the day. I find the creme finish to be moisturising and comfortable to wear all day.

I always opt for gloss when my lips are a bit dry and needs that extra bit of moisture. I have been constantly reaching for Weho which is an Ultra Glossy Lip from Colourpop. It is a creamy beige colour also in a creme finish which means it is a pigmented gloss with high shine. It makes my lips look fuller and smoother and lasts really long on me. There isn't much of a scent that I notice but I love wearing this alone or on top of Aquarius.

I'm sure everyone is liquid lipstick obsessed and so am I. I have been loving Calypso, which is an Ultra Satin Lip from Colourpop. I find that the Ultra Satin Lip formula the most comfortable compared to the Ultra Matte Lip since it can be drying. The Ultra Satin Lip gives me the matte look I am looking for while being moisturising. This does transfer however it lasts a long time and easy to reapply. Calypso is a pink nude - one of those 'your lips but better' shade on me and it my most reached for shade.

When I'm looking for a matte lip with long-wearing abilities I reach for the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare. It is a matte finish, long lasting, transfer proof and comfortable to wear. I have this in the mini size and it is really easy to apply with one swipe. It is pigmented and you only need one layer - it's also easy for us UK people to get it from Debenhams now which is a plus. Double Dare is pink with a little coral undertone.

That is all for my WEEK IN LIPSTICKS #1, I'm sure there will be a lot more of these posts in the future. What's your most obsessed lip product right now?

Until next time!
