THE EVERYDAY BASE #1

I always end up going back to certain products and today we are talking about my everyday base. I may change up my bronzers, blush, eyeshadows and so on but these are my current go-to's.

FOUNDATION

Foundation wise I am always about the full coverage and I mainly stick to drugstore brands -  the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation has been my go-to since Summer kicked in, although this isn't exactly drugstore, it is an affordable brand that you can get from Beauty Bay.This was a really hyped up product and with reason, a year later I am still using this as my summer go-to (I'm on my third bottle). One pump of this is enough for my whole face and for the areas that I need extra coverage. It has a semi-matte finish and works really well with my oily skin. The shade range is quite good and I normally just purchase the shade 03 Light Beige and use a white foundation to mix if I was on the paler side.

CONCEALER

For concealer, I always look for something that can cover my scars and dark circles really well. I have been in love with the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer. To highlight and brighten my under eyes I use Shade 2 which has a neutral undertone. To cover blemishes I use Shade 4 currently which matches my foundation really well and cover up the red marks I have around my nose and spot and scar concealing. These have a semi matte finish, is full coverage and does not crease which is ideal.

FACE POWDER

It is really important for me to set my foundation and concealers that I apply on my face since my oily skin can make my makeup slip. I have been using the RCMA No Colour Powder since I first heard about it. It is truly translucent therefore it won't give you flashback or change the colour of your foundation/concealer, it is also finely milled therefore can be used to bake under the eyes or all over your face.

BRONZER

I am not a contour queen but I do use a bronzer to help carve out my cheekbones since I have quite an oval face. The Hoola Bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics is perfect since it is matte and gives me an overall healthier complexion. I always use this as a base and then use another bronzer to build up the colour.

SETTING SPRAY

After working all your magic in your face, you need to set all your hard work. I have been loving the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray. I've gone through a couple of scents and I recommend Cucumber and Watermelon so far. The setting spray helps get rid of that powdery look that you may sometimes have when you over do the powder and helps prolong your makeup. Setting spray is truly god send.

That is all for my everyday day base. Every time I post a selfie on Instagram I always use these products unless stated so don't forget to check out my Instagram. I would love to know your favourite products for your base.

Until next time!

Until next time!
