Skin
Starting with skin, the first item that has been a life saver for my dry and extremely itchy eyes - Papaya Gold Moisturising Balm which contains manuka honey has helped soothe my irritated area, there is no scent and can be used anywhere on the body. I have finally picked up a new one and a little goes a long way.A serum that I have been using and repurchased my second bottle is a Korean beauty item which can be picked up from Asos and BeautyBay. The one I have is Q10 Effector which helps boost collagen production, I find that this sinks very quickly into the skin and doesn't have that tacky feeling. These are formulated as a skin booster which you incorporate into your regime. It's skin is such an affordable brand of £12 and has been working wonders for my skin so far.
I have ran out of my setting spray and have decided to use my Mario Badescu Facial Spray. This has helped extend the longevity of my makeup and get rid off that powdery look since I wear a lot of powders on top. It smells amazing and instantly refreshes my skin. There are a few different scents with different attributes so I will be keeping my eye on them. I'm currently trying to work through all of the skincare I have since I am a hoarder.
Makeup
I was kindly sent a couple of things from Proto-col which is a British brand specialising in collagen skincare and picked up the mineral foundation powder*. I have the shade Dover which is perfect for those who have a light complexion, I don't use this by itself but as a powder on top and it just creates a flawless finish and gives you that extra coverage. I am obsessed right now.A highlight that I have got back into is from Becca Cosmetics, it's actually the face palette collaboration with Jaclyn Hill and you have two shades; Prosecco Pop and Champagne Pop - I've done a review here. I mix both of these shades together and you can create a subtle r blinding highlight and I mainly go for blinding since I like looking glowy.
I recently picked up a 'newish' mascara from L'oreal. The Waterproof version of Lash Paradise. Lash Paradise is just so good for my lashes- you can easily go overboard with this so I don't find the need to double dip the product. It helps define and volumise my lashes and they stay like that all day with my lash routine.
For brows, I have finished using my Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil and until I make another Colourpop order I don't have that to use. I have rediscovered my love for the Etude House Tint My 4-tip Brow Pen. This is a tattoo pen which you can use overnight to tint and stain your brows, I use this is the day lightly and it can create the most natural brow. The applicator is really unique and has 4 tips which makes it quicker to fill in your brows. You can pick this up at YesStyle or eBay.
Lastly, for lips, my absolute go-to lipstick is Charlotte Tilbury Very Vicotria it is a perfect everyday brown nude for my complexion. Not to mention the packaging and scent just makes me not want to put it down. I feel like I need more in my collection haha.
The other lip product I have been loving is the Revolution Lip Liner in Chauffeur, until I actually swatched them together I did not know how similar they were. The lip pencil does have more of a matte finish and makes your lips look plump.
That is all for my favourites this month! What are your favourites? And like I promised on my Instagram, I have another giveaway here..
Until next time and Good Luck!
