COLOURPOP HAUL 7.0

Colourpop is such an affordable American brand and I haven't made an order in ages, taking advantage of Black Friday offers I picked up a few pieces that I have been wanting to try.

One eyeshadow palette that has been on my mind for the longest time: It's a Princess Thing, a collab with Disney which has the most stunning colours. I am a huge fan of the Colourpop Eyeshadows, the quality and the price. They are very easy to blend and the metallic shades pack a punch. I'm excited to create more looks from this.

I knew when CP launched concealers, foundations where next on the line. The No Filter Natural Matte Foundation did not really appeal to me, as many people said it enhanced fine lines and are not great for people who have dry skin. The concealer as well was just okay and I never repurchased. It was fun when I tried out the Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick and I decided to go with the No Filter Foundation Stix which is medium coverage - choosing the right shade online is very difficult. I selected 50W which is a warm foundation with yellow undertones for light skin tones. Now that I have seen it in person, I feel that this is too dark for my skin but I will be testing this out soon.

Onto the lip products, I picked up Zuma and Vitamin Sea which are both Ultra Blotted Lip formula, they dry down matte and is transfer proof and lasts all day. It acts like a stain on the lips and you can build up the colour. I've had Zuma in the past but I lost it, it is classed as a warm nude but it shows up more pink on my pigmented lip. Vitamin Sea is an orange terracotta colour and looks a little more coral on me. The shades worn together is stunning!

Another liquid lip I picked up is Wish, an Ultra Satin Lip. Wish is a warm beige with a peachy undertone, it's is a collab with Make A Wish created by Deliah Juarez. The USL formula are one of my favourites, it has a semi-matte finish which means it's very comfortable to wear on the lips, it dries down matte but does not have that tight feeling you get from the Ultra Matte Lips. It's also easy to reapply. This is a collab with Make A Wish created by Deliah Juarez.

Lastly, I repurchased my favourite brow product, the Precision Brow Pencil. It helps create a defined brow which you can go natural or bold. The thin barrel makes it is easy to control and mimics hair-like strokes. I love the spoolie on the other end too as it blends everything out smoothly. I go with the shade Black n Brown.

That is all for this post, I'll be doing a review on the foundation stix soon which you'll find out first over on my Instagram

Until next time!

  4. Colourpop shadows are the best value. I can't believe they're so cheap. I use my singles all the time.
I've also ordered the stick foundation (I absolutely loved the no filter liquid foundation) and I can't wait to try it out!
It's hard to match yourself online but I think that their website is more helpful than most when it comes to finding the right shade :)
