Empties

Back to blogging, I took a week off for Chinese New Year and today I am sharing my empties as I love knowing what has worked at the end of every product.
The Body Shop | Camomile Cleansing Oil
A staple product in my skincare routine, I have bought this numerous times, this two-step product breaks down all the makeup including waterproof mascara and leaves your skin hydrated after. This is relatively more expensive in HK since it is imported in. It retails for $180 HKD which is approximate £18 but is £12 in the UK. I will be taking a break on this since I am trying some Asian brands.

A product that was sent to me to try many moons ago (3 years) that I have been using non-stop since. This is a gel toner that soothes your skin while helping fight blemishes as it contains salicylic acid. It is formulated for sensitive skin and helps reduce imperfections. The consistency is a runny but thick liquid which I apply onto a cotton pad and then smooth across my skin. This product was one of my repurchases that helped with my cystic acne breakout.

A serum that helps with hyperpigmentation and brightening, I've had really good results with this especially across my lower cheek/chin area where my cystic acne left a lot of dark marks. This helped my dull skin and was a really nice addition to use in my routine, it has a slight rose scent which is a dream to apply. For now, I won't be repurchasing as I am using new products. I have a whole review here.

An exfoliating toner from The Ordinary, this contains 7% of glycolic acid and helps boost radiance and refine texture. This has a slight tingly effect when you sweep this across your skin but leaves a clean slate for your next skincare item. It is called a dupe of the Pixi Glow Tonic which contains 5% glycolic acid. I won't be purchasing this soon as I have a few exfoliating toners to go through first.

A repurchase product, this serum contains collagen aiding anti-ageing and vitamin c complex that helps with brightening leaving you with radiant skin. This serum has really helped my milia in the past and has helped my dull skin this time around. I won't be repurchasing this soon as I am looking at trying more products that contain vitamin C. I have a review here.

One of the first products I used from The Body Shop, I have used this since I was 18 and have been purchasing again and again. I love the thicker liquid texture which instantly gives me a boost of hydration, I use this day and night and it is suitable for all skin types.

Don't we all hate it when everything runs out at the same time? I have linked any reviews that I have and can't wait to try new products.

Until next time!
