Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour + Beauty Light Wand Review

Throughout summer I wanted the majority of my products to be cream or gel-based products for a lightweight easy to blend routine. I picked up the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand and also the Beauty Light Wand. These are called the easy contour and highlight that you gently squeeze out and apply.

Contour Wand
Opting the shade fair to medium, a dark chocolate colour, it is a lightweight, buildable and easy to blend product. The cushion applicator helps achieve a soft even application. There is a twist function that turns the product 'on' and 'off' to prevent leakage.

There are 12 ml of product which is not a lot, the packaging, however, is stunning with its bronze packaging.  I like dotting the wand onto my face and then blend with a beauty sponge. I find that it's super even and natural-looking, I do layer this up for more definition and a more bronzey look. The consistency is thin but never makes your contour look muddy or orange. It stays on all day and I like the easy application method.

Highlighter Wand
Choosing the shade Spotlight, a neutral gold highlight perfect for all skin tones. It is a lightweight and buildable product with a twist lock and sponge applicator. The product applies really well on top of the foundation with a sponge or with your fingers, it gives a beautiful sweep of gleam without any harsh shimmers or lines.

Again there is 12ml of product, the packaging is the same as the bronzer only a lighter bronze shade.
I like to dot the highpoints of my face and use the same applicator I use to apply my foundation which is normally a puff or sponge. A little product goes a long way and it stays on all day leaving you with a lightweight effortless glow.

Overall
Both the contour and highlighter wand are incredibly easy to use and are beautiful shades. The only con is the sponge applicator which can trap bacteria over time. These are a bit pricey and I do think the packaging could be a lot smaller but they blend and look fantastic on your skin. I prefer using this when I don't need to set my foundation for an all-over dewy look.

What liquid bronzer and highlighters have you been using? I would love to check out different brands.

Until next time!
