June has been a whirlwind, 6 months and we are already half way through the year. It won't be long until we start making new blogging goals and resolutions. In this month's favourites - a lot of these products are skincare/makeup saviours for me as I was suffering from breakouts and some items that I pre-ordered arrived.
The Ciate X Olivia Palermo Smokey Suedes Palette has been in my collection for a while, I took this on holiday to Hong Kong and South Korea and I have been using it since. It is a handy eyeshadow palette that has everything you need. My most used shadows are 'whoopie pie', third shadow along the top row - a beautiful crease/transitional colour that I use to blend.'Butler', which is the centre shadow used to set the Urban Decay Primer Potion which helps anything you apply on top more smooth. And lastly 'Glazed', last eyeshadow on the top row - it is the most beautiful rose gold shimmer that I wear as a whole lid colour. These are all extremely buttery smooth, pigmented and easy to use - I have a full review of the Smokey Suedes Palette.
Skincare saviour this month has been the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask - I have been breaking out constantly since I've been back from my holidays and this helps to control sebum which is the oils in your skin, reduce pores, cleanse and exfoliate. The volcanic attributes help speed up and dry out the developing spots and leaves you skin baby soft. The clay mask has a creamy formula which allows you to easily spread the product where you need it the most.
I've talked about the
Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser as part of one of the products I use in my
10 Step Skin Care Routine. I dabbled in and out of it in my morning routine and I have swapped it to my night time moisturiser and use it as a sleeping mask. Because it is a gel cream formula my skin easily absorbs everything it needs and creates a smoother base for my makeup the next day. The smell of this is really refreshing if you like oranges.
I feel that I've lost my glow/tan in my face since going away (it's only been 1 month) and I have been reaching for the Milani Baked Bronzer in Glow. It has a beautiful marble like design with the different shimmers inside, I would describe this as a golden beige with a warm undertone. I sweep this across my cheeks and the temple of my forehead to add more golden bronze to my face. I have an Instagram post here where I wore it recently. I find this incredibly pigmented - so keep a light hand, smooth and buildable.
Starting off with non-lip products first. I am the proud owner of the earigly awaited It Cosmetics Bye Bye UnderEye Concealer that I pre-ordered for 2 months and arrived after I came back to the UK. Initially, I ordered the 'Light' shade but it was too pale for my skin tone. Medium is the next shade up which matches my skin but does not give me the highlighted look. I've done quick reviews of 8 Concealers That I have Tried and Tested, where I gave it a mention and the full story of how I use the concealer. This covers my eyebags 100% with a pea sized amount of product -you do need to warm up the product first with your fingers to make it easier to blend. Once it sets, it does not crease or budge.
For lips this month I have been reaching for Mac's Taupe which is a matte lipstick. Taupe is a brown colour with a lot of red warm undertone. It looks browner on the bullet than the swatch itself. On me, the red tones are highlighted by my yellow complexion, therefore it looks more red than brown. I have been reaching for this when I feel like I need some colour or when it's more summery outside. There is never just one lipstick in my favourites and the Nars Matte Lip Pencil in Tortola is quite new to me. This is a true brown for me and sometimes if I apply too much or if I don't wipe away other products on my lips it can become a little patchy and muddy. Nevertheless, I love this 90's colour, it's creamy to apply therefore glides on easily and the colour is long lasting. I don't like sharpening lip/eye pencils but I'll have to get over that for this beautiful colour. That is all for my favourites this month, what favourites have you been enjoying?Until next time!Don't forget to follow me on: BLOGLOVIN | TWITTER | PINTEREST | INSTAGRAM

I use the Illuminating face powder in amber nectar by milani as a overall glow, the baked bronzers can be a bit too much if you are not used to shimmery bronzers x
