JANUARY FAVOURITES

It's nearly the end of the month and today I'm sharing my favourites that I have been reaching for. These products come at no surprise since I have been talking about them on here and if you follow me on Instagram you should have seen it popping up on my feed.

The star of the show is the Shaaanxo Palette created in collaboration with BH Cosmetics, there are 9 eyeshadow shades and 9 lipstick colours, I've done a review post here and I only use the eyeshadow side since Lip palettes aren't my favorite as you can't reapply your lipstick throughout the day without carrying it around. I have been using the eyeshadows religiously and I have barely made a dent, they are pigmented and blend like a dream, the darker red matte shade does have a little kick up but nothing to worry about.

There have been 2 standout lip favourites this month and I have featured them in my Week In Lipsticks, they are the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Screenshot and Ultra Matte Lip in Beeper and are on the opposite side of the colour spectrum.  Screenshot is a straight up peach shade on my lips and it looks amazing when I wear a little orange in my eyeshadow, it has the longevity that you need in a lipstick and is very comfortable to wear.

Beeper is the only Ultra Matte Lip I have and I do find the formula to be a bit on the drier side but preparation is key, I apply a little Dr Paw Paw Moisturising Balm to help with this while I put on the rest of my makeup and it's become much smoother and comfortable. Beeper is a brown with a rosy undertone and sometimes is looks browner than rosy.

Highlighter favourite is another Colourpop gem, Churro a pearlized highligher with a hint of peach and gold shimmer. With is bouncy unique texture this highlight was a little tricky to use at first but now I love smoothing my fingers over the product and tap it onto my cheekbones, nose bridge and browbone. This is such a beautiful colour and is a bailable formula since I accidently applied too much due to the dark lightening in the morning.

Lastly, a skincare favourite is a mask from The Body Shop which I have done a full review on. The Vitamin E Sink In Moisture sleeping Mask, it works it's magic overnight by just applying a little more than your normal night cream and you wake up with hydrated and plumped skin without the hassle of putting on a sheet mask or washing away 20 minutes later. This is really handy for those tired days that we all have and just want at least our skin to look better.
