Last month I signed up to try out the YesStyle's Beauty Box containing 5 full size and four sample-size makeup or beauty products. This box surrounds itself around the themes of Korean makeup for a fresh look this spring. Being a huge Korean beauty fan I was really excited to test out new products that I haven't come across before. Getting straight into the review.

For skincare, you receive 4 products, first of all, the COSRX - Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser which helps to remove excess oil and dead skin cells. It contains teas tree oil and natural BHE to refine skin without leaving it tight or dry. I really enjoyed using this, it is a clear gel and foams lightly when you wet your skin, it's extremely gentle and my skin felt refreshed and did not dry out my skin.

You also receive Etude House - Pink Vital Water Trial Kit which includes a Facial Toner, Serum and Emulsion. This 3-step kit helps restore moisture, balance your skin, protect aginst damage, contains a high concentration of peach water, Vitamins A, C and E, herbal and botanical ingredients.  I absolutely loved using this 3-step kit, the toner is really refreshing, has a slight peach scent and gave me hydrated skin. The serum and emulsion are soo wonderful and my skin was drinking up the moisture and I really want to purchase the full size when I go to Hong Kong this year. The emulsion is that extra step that gives you all the nutrients that your skin needs and my skin almost felt plumper. Thumbs up to this sample!

The THANK YOU FARMER - Sun Project Sun Essence, Be Beautiful BB Cream and CC Cream Trial Set is more of a makeup item than skin care. The Shimmer Sun Essence had a pink tone and you notice the shimmer immediately, it acted as a great makeup base since it created a slightly tacky feeling. My skin is more noticeable more glowy/dewy when I applied this and when I wore this throughout the day my skin became a lot more oily since I have oily skin so I am more likely to avoid this in the future. The Be Beautiful BB Cream like all BB creams have a grey tint, it really helps perfect my complexion and slightly covers some of my blemishes. The shade is noticeably lighter than what I would go for but I do know that Koreans like their foundation to look lighter for a much youthful look. I used the CC Cream as a highlight and applied this onto my cheekbones, nose bridge and this has a slight pink tone and contains shimmer, it looked really natural like your glowing from withing. From this trail set, the BB cream gave me a flawless natural look and the CC cream created light highlights to my skin, although I like the 'blur' effect the Sun Essence gave me it's not suited to my skin type.

The Heimish - All Clean Balm is a product that I hear so many Korean Youtubers rave about. The Cleansing Balm melts off your makeup even your stubborn waterproof makeup, once you add water it turns into a milky texture which breaks down your makeup and then you wash it away. It is suitable for sensitive skin and contains shea butter, citrus herbs, fruits and white flower extracts. I really enjoyed using this to remove my makeup, it has a slightly minty feeling and left my skin really clean. I'm not sure if I prefer this over a cleansing oil but if I see this in Hong Kong I will be interested in giving it another go.The sample size is enough to use 4/5 times and my sensitive skin enjoyed using this since I didn't breakout.

Onto the makeup, I received the MCC - Accent Waterproof Eyeliner in #1 Accent Black. This is a waterproof eyeliner containing Vitamin E to moisturise and nourish your skin. The is highly pigmented and the tip allows a smoother and more precise application to the eyelids. I have not stopped using this eyeliner since I received it, it is waterproof and smudge proof not to mention extremely black. I never use pencil eyeliner on my top eyelid since I have oily eyelids but this does not transfer onto my eyelids. I like using this on my inner lash line too and the tip does not last long on the eyeliner but I use concealer to perfect my wing. I am going to pick up loads of these!

The A'PIEU - My Little Mascara ( High Curling). This mascara has a gently curved wand to coat to define your curls from root to tip and adds plenty of drama to the eyes. I like the wand since it does coat every single lash but I can't use this mascara alone since it only gives me volume and not enough length. If you are stubborn straight Asian lashes like me, you more likely have to use another mascara beforehand to lengthen your lashes. I always use a heated eyelash curler and it works well with my lashes, it doesn't claim to be waterproof but I haven't had any problems with it smudging.

The Berrisom - Oops Dual Contouring (No. 1 Highlight & Shading). This is a mousse product with a wand applicator. I have to say you need to use this sparingly since a little goes a long way. The highlighter side is more of a pink tone with shimmer, it is really natural when you blend it out with a beauty sponge. With the shading/contouring side, I only use two gentle dots on my face the shade is warmer than what I usually go for but it looks really natural as a contour. When I use this I skip all powder bronzers since you don't need it.

The RiRe - Luxe Dual Stick #2 Shadow and Blusher. This is a dual stick which can be used as a blush, shadow and lipstick. You get a vibrant pink side and a peachy coral shade on the other. I never directly apply this onto my skin since I set my base with a powder. I apply some of this on the back of my hand and then use a beauty blender to dab it onto my cheeks, it creates a really natural blush look and is not as scary as it looks in the tube. I tried using this on my lips but I found that is clung to my dry patches so this cream product is definitely only for blusher application for me.

Lastly the RiRe Lip Manicure Rouge Highfix. This is a liquid lipstick that claims to last for 12 hours without smudging or feeling sticky and has a waterproof formula. This has a really cool packaging and applicator. If you remember the Bourjois lipglosses that had a love heart shaped wand, this is what this wand looks like, it grabs a lot of product but it applies smoothly on the lips. It has a slight strawberry scent and I think the colour is a bit too much for me if I were to apply it all over my lips since my lips are quite full, I like creating an ombre effect or the so-called 'bitten lip' effect on my lips using my finger to pat where I want the product to distribute to. I can't say it lasts for 12 hours since I'm not likely to wear my lip product on my lips that long, but it did come off when I ate oily food which is expected. This is a matte formula which isn't too drying. The colour is called 'Brick Red' and my mum really likes this colour on my lips since it looks more youthful and vibrant.
Overall I have discovered some amazing products, I really like trying out samples without committing to the product. I loved the Etude House - Pink Vital Water Trial KitMCC - Accent Waterproof Eyeliner in #1 Accent Black, the RiRe Lip Manicure Rouge Highfix and will continue to use the other products. Thank-you to YesStyle for sending this out to me to review, this is not sponsored but contains gifted items with all my honest reviews.
