MAY FAVOURITES

How is it June? I'm sure you've heard of it plenty of times now. The year is going by so fast. Today I'm featuring my May Favourites which I haven't done in such a long time. These are my most reached for products.

Starting with the base, I have been reaching for Sun Screen daily since we had the weird heat wave, I have been using the Frezyderm Velvet Technology sunscreen, it is factor 50 and has 5 stars for UV protection. This is more silicone based and leaves a gentle matte finish on your skin. This doesn't make me greasy and I have not broken out at all. I really recommend this one for £20. Plus you get a lot of product in this.

Foundation wise, I like to create a concoction, I have been mixing the Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation in Creamy Vanilla, The Body Shop Purifying Matte Clay Foundation and LA Girl Illuminating Foundation in White. I am becoming very pale so I needed the white to slightly lighten the tone of the foundation. The Milani with The Body Shop creates a super comfortable full coverage formula which I really like, even though the consistency is a little bit thicker it covers all blemishes.

Concealer wise, I was trying the Make Up Revolution Conceal and Define concealer but since I finished using it I just can't believe how much better the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer is in terms of coverage, it's creamy, easy to blend and is one of the all-time favourites that I neglected while I was trying new concealers. It is more pricey but it's currently on sale on the official website - I have ordered 4 backup (please don't judge).

Continuing with the face, I have been loving the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette ( I can't find the link but here is the ambient lighting powder and here is the blush palette). I use all the shades, there are a bronzer, highlight/brightener and blusher. The powders are just so finely milled and blurs your pores. Mine is well loved and I always mix them together.

The most reached for eyeshadow palette is the Give It To Me Straight from Colourpop, I have been buying so many eyeshadow palettes with their being so many launches but this is the one that I have been using the most. The colours complement each other very well with mattes, satin and shimmer finishes. It's affordable and if you like your warm pinky colours, you will enjoy this palette.

Something that is not a makeup item is the RapidLash. Now, this is very expensive and if I didn't have my boots points I would have not picked it up. I've been wanting to try this for a while and I've been using it for two months now and my lashes look like I have the Ardell demi wispy effect. With the results I'm getting I will continue to purchase this and get the twin pack here.

Lip-wise my most reached for lipstick is very affordable which I featured in my last post here. It is a peachy nude matte colour called Vow from Makeup Revolution. The formula is thick almost like paint but it covers any pigment on your lips and gives you that pouty look that you achieve with a lip pencil.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time!
