CHRISTMAS PARTY PICKS*

It is officially less than one month till Christmas and a lot of us have parties to go to and I usually spend last minute panicking. Here are a few picks and how I would style them.

I like to go all out during events that are when I want something that is eye-catching. I like going long sleeve to protect me against the cold and avoid wearing a jacket which is where this sequin number from Warehouse comes in. It is super sparkly with all the sequins, has a high neck detail and with some statement earrings and statement shoes - you are all ready. I can visualize these perfectly with your hair slicked back or in an updo. They have a huge edit for Christmas party dresses* and I find these so handy if you are struggling to find things to wear.

I also picked out the tuxedo blazer from Warehouse since I think it's really cool to crack out a power suit worn with a really cute bralet underneath. If you don't want to go that extreme, some nice shorts/trousers and a top such as a cami or bralet will do perfectly. This is also convenient if you want to wear it with any dresses/playsuit to protect you against this winter breeze, I have picked out a few below:

You can't go wrong with a little black dress I selected this fringe dress from Asos, I love the detail and if you plan on dancing this is something really special.  For a pop of colour, I love wearing red, I find playsuit's so stunning and I love the silky look of this from Sacred Hawk. I love wrap details since it's really flattering on the body.

For accessories, I like going with contrast. If I'm wearing an all-black outfit I want a little red clutch like this for a pop of colour from Dune. For a stunning black clutch that fits in your hand nicely, I selected this one from True Decadence, it also has a strap for when you want to wear your bag on your shoulder.

I like to keep the shoes quite simplistic with a bit of sparkle which is why I selected these barely-there sandals with embellishment on the ankle from Steve Madden. These are so stunning and would go with all the clothes I've chosen. For jewellery I love the look of ear cuffs, I picked out this ear climber from Kingsley Ryan which is so stunning, it'll look stunning especially if you like tucking your hair behind your ears.

Hope you enjoyed this post and found some inspiration!
