REDISCOVERIES

Over the last month, I've used up a couple of products and have been going through my collection to see what can replace them. I've also had a huge breakout after Halloween so I needed some skincare saviours.

MAJOLICA MAJORCA | LASH EXPANDER EDGE MEISTER MASCARA
A Japanese brand, the Lash Expander is available in two formulas: waterproof and film (remove with water). This mascara gives you amazing length lash by lash. It contains small fibres in which is what really enhance the length of your lashes. This is a love and hate mascara for many people as it can be clumpy and seem spidery if you apply too many coats. I usually apply two thin coats and it lasts all day. I do have the waterproof version, therefore, you need an oil based remover. They do have more mascaras that I do want to try that being Lash King which also volumises your lashes.

MAYBELLINE | THE ERASER EYE
A product that has been a cult for so long and I have recently rediscovered. Marketed as an undereye concealer, it does a fantastic job of brightening and concealing dark circles. The formula is not drying at all and can be used to clean up your bronzer and contour. The only con is the applicator which can be unhygienic with its sponge applicator, Maybelline has also extended their colour range with 11 shades altogether including one marketed for brightening and neutralising. This is a firm drugstore favourite.

FREEDOM | BROW POMADE
A very old product since Freedom is no longer available but it's the same company as Revolution. This brow pomade has been saving my eyebrows, since finishing my Colourpop Brow pencil which I have yet to replace. This is a buildable brow product and with my trusty Spectrum A17 brush this mimics brow hairs and fills my sparse areas perfectly. I have the colour Ash Brown which is perfect for a neutral undertone and matches my dark hair.

ELIZABETH ARDEN | EIGHT HOUR CREAM
Another cult favourite, the EA 8 hour cream can be used all over the body as it is a balm. This is perfect for dry/irritated skin. This is mostly used as a lip balm with its hydrating properties. When you apply this overnight you still feel this on your lips the next morning. The original version is rose scented but they do have a fragrance free option available. I have been reaching for this a lot since the weather is becoming a lot drier and I've had an allergic reaction so it helps soothes the skin too.

PIYAN PING CREAM
I was debating whether I should mention this, but this has been saving my skin. I've had the biggest breakout since my puberty days after my Halloween antics. I believe I didn't wash my beauty blender thoroughly enough as well as the sweat from being in a humid place making my skin so bad. This is called 999 which helps with spots, insect bites and any itchy symptoms. My skin is less red and I have seen a big improvement. My tea tree oil was not doing anything so I have reverted back to this applying this on day and night.

That is all for my rediscoveries, what have you been loving?

Hope you enjoyed this post
