10 Makeup Products under £5 / $50 HKD

Who doesn't love affordable beauty? These are some of my few picks all under £5, there are many good products that work just as well as high end. If you are on a budget don't forget to check these out.

The Saem Pro Tip Concealer
The Saem is a Korean brand and I have been using the concealer for the longest time to either carve out my brows, conceal blemishes and brighten and even as an eyeshadow base. It is lightweight and does not crease. The formula is creamier than Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as that one is a little drying for my skin. It contains SPF 28 which helps protect your skin from sun damage and is medium coverage but buildable. There are only 5 shades but includes one suitable for contouring and one just for brightening.

SWATCHES: WET 'N' WILD APRICOT IN THE MIDDLE | BLOSSOM GLOW | PRECIOUS PETALS

Wet 'n' Wild Megaglo
An affordable highlighter that can make you glow to the gods, Precious Petals and Blossom Glow are both very pigmented, smooth on the skin and buildable. Blossom glow has a silvery and lilac shift and Precious Petals is a champagne gold. They have a lot more shades on the US site and is a must pick-me-up item if you area highlighter addict.

Wet 'n' Wild Colour Icon Apri-cot in the Middle
A beautiful blush that has been my summer go-to. Apri-Cot in the middle is a beautiful Orangey coral colour, it does have shimmer in which makes your skin glow, the formula is a little powdery but the pigment and application are perfect on the skin. It did come with an applicator but I binned that.

SWATCHES: WET 'N' WILD BARE IT ALL | REVOLUTION VOW | PRIMARK P.S 01 | REVOLTION CHAUFFEUR LIPLINER

Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Bare It All
An everyday go-to shade, Bare It All has been mentioned numerous times, it is a matte coral pink shade, perfect to brighten up your complexion, the formula is buildable and does have a little honey scent that wears off once you apply it. The packaging isn't the prettiest with its clear lid but do not be put off by it, it's long lasting on the lips and they have many shades to choose from.

Revolution Renaissance Lipstick Vow
The Revolution Renaissance line reminds me of the Charlotte Tilbury line, with its packaging. The shade Vow is a nude with a cool undertone and sometimes looks brown on my lips. The lipstick is incredibly pigmented, opaque and has a hint of vanilla. The formula is matte which may tug on your lips, but it also gives you that plump look.

Revolution Renaissance Lip Liner Chauffeur
Paired with the Renaissance Lipsticks or worn alone, the lipliners are very smooth and pigmented. The formula gives a plump effect and is smudge-proof. Chauffeur is a brown nude pink and can be worn with a simple gloss on top. I only wish that this was a twist up applicator as it has a little wood smell.

Primark P.S Lip Liner Pencil
Primark Beauty has really stepped up their game. The P.S lip liners are incredibly creamy and pigmented. The shade 01 is a lovely peachy nude. One of the first ingredients is Castor Oil which helps hydrate your lips.

Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent
Although I am a huge fan of the RCMA No Colour powder, there are times where I need a pressed powder. The Rimmel Stay Matte does a really good job of setting your foundation, it is available in a few shades but I stick with translucent so I can set my whole face including my undereye area.

Essence Lash Extension Mascara
This is an extremely affordable mascara that really does what it says, it gives my lashes length and thickness. The diamond shaped brush also makes it easy to grab lashes from corner to corner. It also contains fibres which help with the lengthening and has it has not irritated my eyes in any way.

Freedom Brow Pomade
Okay, I hate to admit this but I have had this Brow Pomade for 4 years now and its still going strong. You only need a little product to do your brows and with the right brow brush drawing my brows is an easy job. Freedom is no longer available but the Revolution Brow Pomade is exactly the same product. I've only used half the pot and it has not dried out. If you are wanting to experiment with brow pomade I really recommend this one.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time!
