January Favourites

Everyone will be saying January has gone by so fast and I completely agree, it's been a whirlwind. In terms of makeup and skincare, I haven't been on a splurge which is good for my bank account. Before I ramble on too much, here are my favourites.

I have done a post going through all my foundations and re-reviewing my likes and dislikes of each product and how it has worked for me in the hotter climate and the finishes I prefer now. The L.A Girl Pro Coverage is an illuminating foundation with buildable medium coverage, it blends nicely on the skin with a healthy dewy glow all day. I am very low on this and it is a foundation that I went back to time and time again.

I went through a phase using a different eyeshadow palette every single day since they all need a little love. I have been reaching for the Warm Obsessions palette quite a few times as the shade selection allows you to create something very natural or bold. If you are a fan of warm shades like your oranges and caramels, you would love this palette too.

This is a limited edition product but you still can purchase the Bamboo Bronzers as a single, the powder applies really smoothly on the skin and as an initial 'brontour' for me, it is the perfect shade being a little on the warmer side. It is also a matte finish which is perfect for building shadows and depth.

Never underestimate beauty products from clothing brands. H&M beauty has some really good products like their lipsticks, eyeshadows and blush and bronzers. Deep Brown is a stunning matte deep mauve. It is a buildable product, applies smoothly to the skin and looks beautiful swept across your cheeks especially if you want to keep the tones similar to your eyeshadow.

I have kept this short and simple and I need to do a big beauty haul with all the new launches. What products have been your favourites this month?

Until next time!
