Barry M | Primer Drops | Beauty Elixir
This primer reminds me of the Farsali Unicorn Essence which retails for £20 for 10ml. Very expensive, I know! The beauty elixir promises to hydrate and smooth your skin for the perfect makeup base. I find myself reaching for this a lot when I need a primer, it's cooling on the skin and makes my makeup last longer.
Barry M | Makeup Setting Spray | Dewy Finish
Matte foundations have been my go to and with the hotter temperature, I wanted a dewy setting spray for a little glow. This gives me an overall natural glow and the spray is very even without drowning your skin in product. I have actually used this a lot and although it has flower extract the scent isn't pleasant, it smells like alcohol/plastic but it does not linger long This is just an okay product that I want to use up.
Pixi Beauty | Eye Reflection Shadow Palette | Natural Beauty *
This has been the palette that I have reached for this week. I really wanted to try out the formula, all the matte shades are complementing and easy to blend and all the metallic shades are beautiful for an everyday bronze look. Metal Mauve is the only shade I would say is an eyelid topper as it has a lot of glitter particles. My most reached for colours are Sheer Sand, a matte bone colour to set your eyelid primer, Rose Clay for transitional colour, Soft brown for a little depth and Foiled Bronzer an all over the eyelid shade.
Etude House | Double Lasting Foundation
My most reached for foundation, I actually use this to mix with my cushion foundations that are too dark, it gives me a lovely flawless matte base and has a buildable medium to high coverage. If you have oily skin this controls the oils quite well. I heard it is a dupe for the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation but I have yet to try it.
YSL | Tatouage Couture Matte Stain
Not only is the packaging beautiful this is a beautiful shade. 07 Nu Interdit is called a nude but on my lips, as it is more pigmented, it shows up more of a rosy pink shade. I normally apply 2 layers for full pigmentation and it does wear off nicely but does come off when you eat. It has a very strong floral scent and has been my most reached for lippie since purchasing it.
What has been your most reach for products lately?
Until next time!

DeleteI love the sound of the Barry M Primer. Anything that is a dupe for the Farsali Unicorn Essence is good enough for me. I also found a dupe at Primark which is just as good. I need to try it x

ReplyDeleteIt's a good starter palette x
DeleteI used to love Barry M but find myself not shopping it as much as I once did, it is a great brand and one that I do miss sometimes, especially when it comes down to nail polish. My local store removed the Barry M stand so if I want to browse (as I so often do) I have to go further afield.
