Trash Talk aka Empties

Welcome back to another empties, I have been working through a lot of products and here are some quick reviews of these and whether I would repurchase again in the future. I have a mix of makeup, skincare and haircare products.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
This is packed with 5 types of hyaluronic acid and although it is named a 'lotion' it's a toner. It has a thick gel consistency that makes my skin super hydrated and plump. I would re-purchase this in a heartbeat, I have featured this in my Evening Skincare Routine and February Favourites.

Hada Labo Premium Emulsion
This is a milk emulsion and is packed with 5 types of hyaluronic acid, this is super-rich for the skin and I see instant plumpness and hydration when I use this. It's not super sticky and gives you time to work it into your skin. If you have super dry skin this will be a godsend and for people who are addicted to deep hydration, I love this product. I will be repurchasing this in the future. I have featured this in my Evening Skincare Routine and February Favourites.

Hada Labo Cleansing Oil
Blended with hyaluronic acid, this cleansing oil does not leave your face greasy, is suitable for sensitive skin, is fragrance-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol -free and has no added colourisation. I found that it removed my makeup well but you need to work the product in for waterproof mascara. When it emulsifies (when you add water) it turns into a running white liquid that I feel like doesn't have enough time to breakdown your makeup since the liquid is all down to my elbows. I like using this but won't necessarily repurchase right now.

Tony Moly Brightening Ampoule
An ampoule to help with hyperpigmentation and brightening your skin. It has such pretty pink packaging but unfortunately, it did nothing drastic. It smelt good and did not have that sticky feeling once you applied onto your skin. I have a full review here. I wouldn't repurchase this in the future.

Superdrug Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser
Can you believe I started using this 4 years ago and it's still a staple item in my cleansing routine? What I love about this is it hydrating and gentle on the skin while removing all traces of makeup.  I use with my Foreo and it makes it very relaxing. I've mentioned this product in this post:

Pro-tocol intense Protection Day Moisturiser with SPF 50*
I wear SPF every day and my go-to has been this daily moisturiser that has SPF included, I use this on top of my normal moisturiser and it creates a good base for your foundation too. It does not break me out and has no white cast. I was gifted this but this is the second bottle I have finished.

Barry M Unicorn Elixir Primer Drops
This is a gel-based primer that has a subtle glow, it's perfect for oily skin and helps prolong your makeup. It smells refreshing with its slight citrusy scent and is quickly absorbed into your skin leaving you with a hydrated and smooth base. I would repurchase this in the future and I have a review here.

NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Foundation
I was shade matched the shade Buff which was way too dark but this foundation gives you flawless full coverage, it's not too drying on the skin, covers all blemishes and is affordable. I have now repurchased in my shade and I would repurchase again. I have a full review here.

The Saem Cover Perfection Pro Tip Concealer
An affordable concealer from a Korean brand. It has a good medium to full buildable coverage that does not dry out your under eyes area. It's super lightweight and has SPF 28. I use this also to carve out my brows. I will be repurchasing this in the future.

Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask
Infused with prickly pear seed oil, this hair mask helps smooth and protect your hair. I like using a hair mask instead of a conditioner as it works better for my dry hair. A little bit of this goes a long way and makes my hair feel soft and shiny. This is quite expensive so I will be trying out others.

I've gone through a lot of products, what products have you used up recently?

Until next time!

  7. I haven't tried any base products from Nyx, I really should look into the brand a bit more as I only ever buy their creme glosses, which by the way, I love!
