THE PRIMER
The base of all bases start with a primer, I have been loving the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm as a face primer. Discovered and raved through the beauty community through Nikki Tutorials on Youtube, the glycerin ingredients helps your makeup stick onto your skin increasing the longevity of your makeup. I love this and I am now on my second bottle.
I watch a lot of youtube and Michelle from Ready Set Glamour raves about the Pur Cosmetics HydraGel Lift Eye Perfecting Primer which helps prevent your concealer sinking into your fine lines. This has a cooling effect and feels amazing under your eyes in the morning. I haven't noticed a drastic difference but it helps moisturise my undereye area.
THE CONCEALERS
Call me the concealer fanatic. Do I use all these concealers all on my face at once? No. They all have different jobs for different areas of my face.
I will be forever grateful for the girls over at Ardere Cosmetics for sending me these to try and for Amena and Paula for creating these wonderful products. These are the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer Set which provides wonderful full coverage, non-creasing, buildable concealers. They are specially made to wear under your eyes which I use all over my face to colour correct, hide blemishes and highlight my face. It has a satin matte finish and a hydrating formula that does not dry out your eyes.
Shade 1 is the lightest of all the shades and I only use this when my dark circles are really bad that Shade 2 can not cover alone. Shade 2 is my perfect eye-brightening concealer shade and I am running out so I'm feeling quite sad. Shade 3 is the closest to my skin tone and acts as a perfect blemish concealer. Shade 4 and Shade 5 I often switch between and I use this to colour correct especially on my pigmentation areas. I love the Flawless Concealer Set and I have recommended these to everyone.

The Maybelline Eraser Eye is a favourite amongst the drugstore concealers which actually help conceal dark circles without drying your undereye area up. It has a peachy undertone which cancels out purple/blue hues under your eyes. I haven't used this under my eyes since I discovered the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer for a good half a year now. I now use this to tidy up/ carve out my brows and perfect my filled in eyebrows. This concealer is amazing for your brows and does a fantastic job with a concealer brush.
The It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye is very much hyped up product and us UK'ers waited a long time for these to arrive on QVC. This is a full coverage concealer which you need to warm up on your hands since it is thick. It does the job of concealing your eyebags but it is drying. You need to set this with a powder since it has a glowy finish. I switch between this with the Ardere Cosmetics one since this can enhance the fine lines around my eyes.
THE FOUNDATION
A foundation that does not fail me is the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer. This is a full coverage foundation which covers my scars and blemishes really well. I have a full review here so I won't ramble on too much. It's long-wearing, full coverage, lightweight, survives humidity and is affordable.
THE BROWS
I have no eyebrows, I don't even have a tail on my brows. My brow hairs are coarse and only a few strays exist. Eyebrows wasn't a big thing when I was younger and I started to fill my brows in when I was 18 - why did no one tell me. I swap between the Freedom Brow Pomade and Ardere Cosmetics Brow Fibre - they both do different jobs and is a 2 step process. It's all down to how I want my brows that day.
The Freedom Brow Pomade was a discovery last year and did take me some time to master with a perfect angled brow brush, this fills in my brows very naturally and is a great match for my hair. I apply my brows after I apply my foundation and then reapply after I have done the rest of my face makeup since I set my whole face with a setting powder and it can linger on my brows. This is what my brows look like with Freedom Brow Pomade on my Instagram Photo.
The Ardere Cosmetics Brow Fibre is for when I want to go bold and recently I have been using this a lot. The brow fibre helps mimic your hairs very well especially for my bald eyebrow tails. The colour of this helps my brows frame my face and the colour is a good match. It is a buildable product and is easy to work with. This is what my brows look like with the Ardere Cosmetics Brow Fibre in Light on my Instagram photo here.
THE EYESHADOW + PRIMER
I am an eyeshadow girl and I find that eyeshadows enhance and brings out my eyes more especially as my eyes are small. I always use an eyeshadow primer to help increase the longevity of my eyeshadows as well as enhancing the colours it also helps my oily eyelids too. It's great to use an eyeshadow primer to get rid of veiny eyelids and it makes blending much more easier. The one that I have been using for years is the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original.
My go-to palette that I don't need to fuss about what shades to use is the Ciate London X Oliva Palermo Smokey Suedes Eye Palette. This is me in a palette, it has my favourite colour green inside, a perfect all over eyelid shade, transitional colour, warm browns and most importantly the rose gold colour which I don't have in other eyeshadow palettes. I love this since it is compact and easy to blend and work with. I have a review of this here.
THE EYELINERS
Lining my eyes makes all the difference. In my lashline, I use the Max Factor Excess Infinity Longwear Eyeliner. It has a waterproof and smudge-proof formula and is creamy and easy to glide on which makes it great to line you lash line with.
For my wing eyeliner, I used to opt for the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner but I have been trying out the Kat Von D Tatto Liner in Trooper. The Stila Eyeliner has a felt tip and sometimes it is not that smooth to apply but the longevity and the waterproof formula is amazing. The Kat Von D Tatto Liner has a brush-like tip which makes it easy to control your flick and the width of your eyeliner. So far I much prefer the Tattoo Liner over Stay All Day.
THE MASCARAS
I use two mascara to help achieve different things. The Maybelline Lash Sensational helps separate and define my lashes without weighing them down. The Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara help thicken and lengthen my lashes. Together they make my lashes long and voluminous. I have a whole Lash Routine here that shows how I get my lashes to stay curled.
THE CONTOUR, BRONZER AND ALL OVER
I'm not all for cream contour since I have oily skin and who has the time to carve out your features every morning? Powders are an easy and buildable way to accentuate your features just as fine. I love the NYX Cosmetics HD Blush in Taupe as a contour, it has a neutral shade and works amazing as a shadow. For bronzer, I love using the Ciate London X Olivia Palermo Bluff Point. The bronzer shade is slightly warmer but I use this on top of my contour to enhance the cheekbones I don't have. I use the Milani Illuminating Face Powder to blend all the powders together from my forehead, temples to my cheeks area, it makes my face look radiant and pulls everything together.
THE BLUSHERS AND HIGHLIGHTERS
I love a good 'bronzey' radiant look and sometimes I only opt for blushers that are a mauvey if I'm feeling a little pop of colour I opt for Milani Powder Blush in Warm Petals which is a peachy shade with slight shimmer as it makes my skin look radiant. The other blush I have been loving is Amaretto in the Jaclyn Hill Palette. It is a warm toasted brown shade which crosses between a blush and bronzer. It just makes my cheeks pop and I love it.
For highlight Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop has taken over my love since it's a beautiful warm golden peach highlight for my skin tone. I have a full review on the Jaclyn Hill Palette here. My first love of highlighters is TheBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer, it has a special place in my heart and is a beautiful golden champagne shade.
THE LIPS
I like to keep the lips simple and opt for a good old lipstick. My favourite everyday lipstick is Mac Velvet Teddy which is the perfect everyday nude for me. I am feeling the autumn weather therefore, I have been loving Mac Taupe with has a hint more red in. They are both matte formulas and last really long on my lips.
TO SET
We all need to set our makeup and my favourite setting powder is the RCMA No Color Powder. It has no flash back , can be used to 'bake' and clean up mistakes and it is also affordable. You get a lot of product for what you pay for and the powder is very fine and it is actually translucent.
To set all that powder that I apply on my face and make it look less powdery I have been using the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray in Green Tea. The nozzle sprays the product evenly across you face, the scent, however, reminds me of my perfume so I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing. One thing which may be due to the scent is that it makes my eyes tingly afterwards. I'm not sure if it's the ginger part of the scent or the formula itself but it overall does a great job in setting my makeup making it last longer and look flawless.
OVERALL
I know I use a lot of products and there is a lot in this post but this is generally what I use on my face every single day. I love my makeup but I also my skincare too. It's really important to look after your skin if you want your makeup to look good too. Hopefully, your everyday makeup menu won't be as long as mine but please share your links below so I can check out what makeup your wear every day. I hope you've enjoyed this post.
The UD eye primer and MAC velvet teddy are two products on my wishlist! Oh and I really need to try the Maybelline under eye concealer, I see it be used by everyone! A good concealer for under the eye area is a must for me. By the way your eyebrows look great, would never have known if you didn't say anything.

I really enjoyed this post, I really want to post my own "makeup menu". The eyeshadow palette looks gorgeous - I haven't tried anything from the Ciate X Olivia Palermo collection but I see that Superdrug still carry it! The Jaclyn Hill palette is my favourite, always picking it up because of how versatile and convenient it is.
