UK HAUL

Spending 5 days in the UK means taking advantage of picking up new bits and bobs that I wanted to try. This is more of a show rather than tell post and reviews will come later when I have tried out the products more.

SKINCARE

As I did not pack any of my cleansing items as they are available in the UK. I repurchased the Garnier Pure Active Sensitive Anti-Blemish Soap-Free Gel Wash. That is a very long name but I have used this in the past and really helped with my breakouts (review here). It does not dry out your skin as it is alcohol-free therefore suitable for sensitive.

My go-to Hot Cloth Cleanser that is so affordable and works amazing is Superdrug's own brand containing a muslin cloth, this is the final step in my cleansing routine (here) that hydrates while removes the last traces of makeup.

Does shower gel count as skin care? I persuaded my sister to buy Sleepy for me as a Christmas present even though I am not going to be in the UK this Christmas. If you love Twilight you would love this, it has that beautiful relaxing lavender scent which I can't wait to use every day.

MAKEUP

BASE

The It Cosmetics CC Cream has been on my wishlist for ages and I finally picked this up using my Boots points. I chose the shade Fair for a brighter complexion, it's such a hyped product that provides full coverage and is anti-ageing. Can't wait to use this.

Another foundation I picked up also full coverage from NYX, the Can't Stop Won't Stop. I was shade matched no.10 Buff which is for neutral (yellow) undertones, it is a perfect match for my skin and I have used it a few days so far and it's a beautiful buildable foundation that does not become cakey. There is a huge shade range and retails for £15 in the UK and $17 in HK.

EYES

My trusty Eylure Heated Eyelash Curler that I have had for years sadly made it's way to the bin, I picked up another from Amazon. For anyone who has stubborn straight lashes this is the perfect tool to have to lift those lashes. I've shared my lash routine here so don't forget to check that out.

The L'Oreal Lash Paradise creates magical length and volume for my lashes and I was very upset that HK does not sell it, I picked up a backup and only in the waterproof formula as I have oily eyelids. I get so many compliments when I use this mascara.

I have been using pomade for a while and came across the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade which claims to be waterproof and long-lasting, this a new product on the market I believe and I selected the shade, Ash Brown. It contains an applicator too which is very easy to use. I will be reporting back on this.

LIPS

Charlotte Tilbury, one of my favourite brands launched Pillowtalk in a lipstick version a while ago and I finally picked it up. I also lost the Lip Cheat Lip Liner so I picked that back up too. The formulas of these lipsticks and lip liners are just stunning and help plump and shape your lips. Can't wait to use this since I have taken photos.

Another liner which is actually from Primark only at £1 called Nude Naked Flame, is creamy and easy to line your lips with. The colour is a peachy beige nude so suitable for my pigmented lips, they have so many shades and I wish I picked up more.

That is all for my haul!

Hope you enjoyed this post
