Full face of cruelty free makeup

Going through my products, I have been more conscious of what I purchase and ethics behind cosmetics and brands. Today I have a full face of makeup that is cruelty-free.

Foundation + Concealer

As I have been rotating my makeup a lot, I have worn a different foundation every day and I have found some favourites among them. For this look, I've chosen the EX1 Cosmetics Inviswear Liquid Foundation which is a buildable light to medium coverage and gives your skin a very flawless finish. I have a full review here.

I do not venture around a lot with my concealer, going with the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Concealer using shade 2 to highlight and shade 4 for concealing blemishes.

Powders

To bake and clean up any mistakes or to highlight I use the RCMA No Colour Powder followed through by the Protocol Baked Mineral Foundation which adds colour back into my complexion, as it is a mineral foundation it also provides very good coverage.

Bronze, Blush, Highlight

Going back to Ciate London's Bluff  (limited edition) Point which has a beautiful matte bronzer to create shadow and depth, focusing just under the cheekbones, forehead and nose bridge. For bronzer, I use Luminous Bronze Light from Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette and also Dim Light and Iridescent Light for a little highlight across the cheeks. As my overall look is quite bronzed, I used Prosecco Pop which is a yellow golden hight from the Becca Cosmetics Face Palette. Lastly, for blush, I opted for Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Rose Gold which gives my skin a lovely light pink glow.

Eyes

Going in with my go-to eyeshadow primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion - original, I apply a light layer and set it with Tempera from Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette. I also use the shades, Burnt Orange, Sienna as transitional and depth colours. For shimmer, I used Sultry which is a metallic dark brown and then Rose Pink and Fairy at the centre of the lid. For mascara, I used the Essence Volume Stylist Lash Extension which lengthens your lashes.

Brows

Going in with my two favourites, I use the Freedom Brow Pomade first to map out the shape of my brows, for precision and hair like strokes I go in with Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil especially at the tail of my brows,

Going with a product I haven't used in a long time, I used the Olivia Palermo X Ciate London Lipstick in Cashmere which is a satin finish, Cashmere is a very pale nude pink and feels slightly matte on the lips, it also does transfer. The packing is a beautiful sleek gold.

To set all my hard work I use the Mario Badescu Facial Spray which gets rid of any powdery look you have and increases the wear time of my makeup.

There are many more brands that are cruelty-free that I haven't covered: CoverFX, First Aid Beauty, Kat Von D, L.A Girl, Revolution, Milani, NYX, Wet 'n' Wild. I'll be looking into skincare in the Asian and Western market too.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time!

  4. Hey there!

This is something that I want to slowly incorporate into my makeup stash! When I am finished with some of my products, I plan on focusing on cruelty free, 100% natural makeup. I’m slowly doing the same with my skin care as well.

BTW, you’re posts are so nicely detailed. :)
