Milk makeup watermelon brightening serum review

A serum in a solid form. Not only is the pretty pink packing attracting but the ingredients of watermelon that help with brightening issues. This is my first solid serum that claims to even skin tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines and gives your skin a luminous glowing finish.

Ingredients
With Swiss garden cress sprout extract, this helps diminish the appearance of dark spots while delivering hydration with watermelon fruit extract. It contains matrixyl that helps with skins elasticity and is suitable for all skin types especially dryness. It is also cruelty-free, paraben-free, vegan, fragrance-free, and oil-free.

Packaging wise it comes in a simple clear twist up applicator and it easy to swipe across your skin due to the width.  The pretty pink colour makes it sit pretty on your vanity, I have no issues with storing this in plain sight but away from the sun.

The product glides smoothly across your skin and helps cool your skin down which is great after you shower. I apply a generous amount across my face and pat the product into my skin. It makes my skin very smooth and hydrated leaving almost a film on top.

I use this both morning and night and while I don't have many fine lines the other claims are true, I feel I have a more even complexion and an overall luminous glow daily. I have used this since March and I still have a lot of product left (75%). This has replaced all my liquid serums, it's just so handy to use and reach for daily. The only disappointment is it does not smell like watermelon but I will repurchase again and maybe try out the watermelon mask from the range.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time!

  2. Milk Makeup always comes to mind when I think of quick but effective skincare. What's you skin type? I want to give this a try since they have mini's but I have oily skin, and it would just be my luck to end up looking oily af. This was a great quick read and I can't wait to read more! :)

  7. I really want to try this! I really love MILK products! I have one of their facemasks & absolutely love it! I also love that they come in stick formation! So easy to apply! In your skincare routine, when do you apply the syrum? After Toner?
