Tony Moly Brightening Ampoule Review

Going through a brightening phase, I am obsessed with products that help with dark marks and hyperpigmentation issues, with the brightening ampoule falling into that category I couldn't wait to use it. If you didn't know an ampoule is a supercharged serum containing higher active ingredients than serums to target skin concerns.

Packaging and Price

Easily attracted by the pretty pink pastel packing, I saw this on Instagram and was added to my basket. I get most of my Korean beauty products from Yesstyle, even though it takes a while to get here they do some amazing deals and I always find new products to try! (see my haul here)

This ampoule is very affordable (£8.65) and there are 6 types altogether depending on your skin concern; moisture, calming, synergy, brightening, firming and poresol. There is 30ml of product in the bottle which is a decent amount and although the bottle looks like glass it's a very sturdy plastic with a pipette dispenser.

Verdict

I have used this for about a month, both morning and night in my routine after all my toners and essence. There is a strong lemony scent and I feel like I need to apply a few drops for enough product for my entire face. My skin absorbs this really quickly and doesn't leave any sticky residue but I also feel like it's not doing anything for my skin. It is however easy to introduce to your skincare routine and does not disturb any other products but the claims of this are questioning.

One of the main ingredients is niacinamide which helps with dull skin, hyperpigmentation issues, minimises wrinkles and fine lines and even improve redness but I feel like the percentage is not high either. I use this morning and night although it's refreshing enough on the skin I have not seen any improvement in terms of evening out skin tone or redness.

Safe to say I will not be repurchasing this bottle but I will be using it all up. I've read up some reviews on the other ampoules so I am tempted to try out those in the future.

What are your thoughts on the Tony Moly Brightening Ampoule?

I have a referral code here which gives you an extra 5% off your first order and 2% off your future orders so don't forget to use it! That is also all for my haul, is there any beauty products that you want to pick up?

Until next time!

  4. We get some Tony Moly products here in the UK, I had a hand cream once in a panda jar, it was amazing and actually very, very good. I have started seeing niacinamide start to pop up more regularly, I need to look into this more.
