THE WEDDING GUEST

We all know that wedding season is approaching and you're probably starting to look through a lot of dresses or maybe even started panicking. This time last year my sister's wedding was in May so I was buying a million dresses and kept sending them back since they weren't what I was looking for and I was buying them for the sake of buying. It all depends on down to what role your playing in the wedding when you come to dress choices and what part of the day you are going to. I've split this into 3 categories and they are mostly from Asos since I have next day delivery so if you are in panic mode you'll get them to you tomorrow.

DUSKY REDS

New Year, new coat right? Welcome to my latest new addition that I adore so much! It's such a beautiful and clean cut coat. With the lapels and a grey denim shirt, I definitely felt I was ready to rule the world. (Just kidding!)

WARDROBE WISHLIST

It's the weekend... well almost. What is better than staying indoors on a cold winter day browsing online adding clothing and accessories to our wishlist? Nothing. I love creating wishlist as it marks what I'm eyeing up and identifying potential items to buys.

THE GREEN BOMBER

We all have one of those days where we just want to look casual and put something on quickly  - these were one of those moments where I was living in this Zara Bomber Jacket. I've been very late to the bomber jacket trend - that's because I did not want to fall into the hype, but who are we kidding we all eventually give into the hype and to be honest I love my bomber jacket for moments that are supposed to be casual like this.

LAST OF THE LAST

Who's ready for Autumn? I'm sure it's going to be one of the last times that I will be showing off the shoulders. I'm preparing to bring out the fluffy socks as I type since my room is very cold. It definitely has been a long summer for me - I've been to Hong Kong for a wedding in May and went to South Korea in June and it's been ones of my best holidays yet. I can't wait for next summer so I'm going to say goodbye to Summer now since most of us are very excited for autumn. ( I'm thinking off all the Halloween candies although I don't like Halloween since I am a scaredy cat and don't like dressing up.)

PASTEL SUEDE

MANGO JACKET | H&M CROP TOP | RIVER ISLAND SKIRT | SENSO RILEY | QUAY AUSTRALIA SUNGLASSES
Welcome back!, quite a lot has changed since you last been on here. I officially have my own domain www.joycelauofficial.com and I have changed my blog layout - it's not all 100% yet, but I'm slowly working it out with the designer so it will be up and running perfectly. Your probably thinking looking at the outfit  'what the hell is wrong with me?' but honestly last week it was all sunshine and rainbows, but we have a snow storm. Let me repeat a snow storm.

THE WARDROBE EDIT #9

Welcome to THE WARDROBE EDIT relating to new additions in my wardrobe.

Another month has past therefore it's time to see what I have accumulated and bought over the last month. The Wardrobe Edit series is available to read here. This month's THE WARDROBE EDIT contains some patterned and muted pieces for the spring weather - used for layering up in cold April. And see how I have styled up some of these pieces below.

FEELIN' BLEAK

URBANCODE COAT | RIVER ISLAND BOMBER | MISSGUIDED TEE | ASOS JEANS | SENSO JAX II
Talking about the weather is a classic British trait, so here we go. April showers means we always need to carry an extra jacket or scarf, sunglasses and an umbrella. For me I have been layering up my jackets - I'm the type of person that would be rather too hot than too cold.

GREEN BOMBER, GREEN COAT

TOPSHOP COAT | RIVER ISLAND BOMBER | MISSGUIDED TEE | H&M JEANS | TOPSHOP BOOTS
It is too cold. We are in Spring and we are experiencing all the different weather changes in one day - sun, rain, wind, hailstone - you name it. I'm finding it difficult to wear lighter items without layering up. It does allow you to carry on wearing your winter items, but its been a few months and I can't wait to introduce my summer pieces.
