JULY FAVOURITES

July has passed by in a whirlwind, I've been really good on my spending ban and only purchased 'limited' items that were hard to get a hold of. It won't be shared in this post since I've only had the other items for a week. There's definitely been some rediscoveries and new products which I have got along well this month.

First makeup item is an eyeshadow palette. I love my eyeshadows since it gives my eyes more definition especially when I opt for a no eyeliner look. I have been reaching for the Freedom Artists Pad in Black Arts. This is an affordable palette with creamy and pigmented eyeshadows. My favourite shades have been highlighted with a star and the swatches are below. The shades are quite autumnal since I like my golds and coppers.

I went back to my Freedom Pro Brow Pomade in Ash Brown since I felt like I was slowing forgetting how to apply a pomade on my brows as I've been constantly using the Ardere Cosmetics Brow Fibre in Light. This is really easy to apply onto the brows and has a buildable formula which allows you control how dark or light you prefer.

For lips, I have been loving my trusty Mac Velvet Teddy which is a matte formula. This is a perfect everyday nude for me and lasts on me for a long time. This is a lipstick that looks different on everybody. I featured this in my recent Go-to Brown Lip Products.

I rediscovered the Ciate X Oliva Palermo The Cheekbone Cheat Duo in Bluff Point. This contains a bronzer and blusher. The bronzer shade is a beautiful contour colour for me to define my cheekbones. I recently featuring this in my Everyday Contouring Products. It is an extremely smooth product that does not make your contour look patchy.

I stepped away from theBalm Mary Louminizer this month since I discovered the Ardere Cosmetics Flawless Highlight in Pearl and Champagne. This has no glitter within the product and is extremely pigmented and smooth to work with. I got my hands on the Jaclyn Hill Face Palette and the pigmentation is quite similar. I've recently done a blog post on my highlighter collection which features the Ardere Highlight.

Lastly, I received the Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream in my July Birchbox. I decided to swap around some of my products in my night skincare routine and I have been using this whole month and I have nearly finished the bottle. This is a thick nourishing cream. I like layering my skincare and this is the last product that I apply onto my face. My skin feels so hydrated the next morning and more plump. I love this and I did not break out either.

That is all my favourites this month. What has been your favourites? until next time!

  4. Mac's Velvet Teddy sounds and looks really nice. I always hear everyone taking about that shade so I definitely want to swatch it and see if it would suit me.
